Tour de France Femmes 2023 - Lotte Kopecky : "Unfortunately I had a flat tire so I couldn’t sprint fully. It would have been nice to win in the yellow jersey but after all this was a good day for our team"
La 2e étape du Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift proposait un parcours musclé de 151,7 kms entre Clermont-Ferrand (Puy de Dôme) et Mauriac (Cantal). Malgré quelques tentatives dans la dernière difficulté du jour, la côte de Trébiac, aucune des favorites n'a réussi à faire de différences, et c'est donc un peloton maillot jaune réduit à une vingtaine d'unités qui s'est joué la victoire. Lotte Kopecky (Team SD Worx) n'est pas passée loin de réaliser le doublé dans ce sprint en faux plat montant, mais la Belge est tombée sur une Liane Lippert (Movistar Team) impériale ce lundi ! La championne d'Allemagne s'impose pour la première fois sur la Grande Boucle. Silvia Persico (UAE Team ADQ) complète le podium du jour. Kopecky conforte logiquement sa place de leader du général avec 49 secondes d'avance sur la vainqueure du jour.
