MasterChef judge Greg Wallace has sparked outrage with a satirical documentary about a factory which manufactures ‘engineered human meat’.

Marketed as a solution to the cost of living crisis, Wallace interviewed human “donors”, who were selling their flesh to fictional firm “Good Harvest”.

The human tissue was then seen growing in labs into larger slabs of meat, which could be used to make steaks, burgers and sausages.

Viewers blasted the show as bad taste and said it made them want to stop eating meat. One Twitter user said: “Gregg Wallace seems to have gone all Hannibal Lecter. What the hell? Miracle Meat - enough to turn me vegetarian.”
