00:02 - Let's go to the Cowboys next.
00:06 Of course, they have started camp out
00:08 in Oxnard, California.
00:10 They hit that West Coast style.
00:12 They don't like that Buck 20 down in Dallas
00:14 to do training camp in, in early August.
00:16 So they go to Oxnard.
00:18 Let's hear from Dak Prescott.
00:20 He says that the Cowboys should pay Zach Martin.
00:22 No kidding.
00:22 He also comments on, this will be like nonstop.
00:26 If you want to find a nauseating topic
00:29 that will run into the regular season,
00:32 the first time that the Cowboys have like a bad game
00:34 where they don't score some points,
00:35 it's the Mike McCarthy call in the plays conversation.
00:40 Get ready to get that shoved down your throat.
00:42 Here's Dak.
00:43 - Yeah, I mean, I know there'll be a lot of benefit from it.
00:45 Mike's an aggressive guy, fun guy,
00:48 spending a lot of time with him,
00:49 just getting to know him,
00:50 understanding what he wants on these plays,
00:52 what he wants in each situation.
00:54 Just understanding his purpose allows me to play
00:57 a little bit quicker, I guess.
00:59 And a little bit more free.
01:00 And as much as he's, I've heard him read,
01:03 it's him saying, he's told it to me a hundred times,
01:05 it's about making the quarterback comfortable.
01:07 It's about putting the quarterback in the best situation
01:08 and allowing him to feel free.
01:10 And I feel that, I felt that all spring
01:12 and I'm feeling as we move forward.
01:14 And that's what it's about,
01:15 is us keeping those conversations ongoing
01:17 so we're thinking in the same
01:18 and I can just play freely out there
01:20 and making sure the guys know where to be
01:22 and understand where I want them to be.
01:24 And that's been a huge jump in just the details
01:27 since the change.
01:28 - Listen, I think he's talented as you know,
01:31 but I do not think he's a great quarterback.
01:34 I think he's been average.
01:36 That's just all there is to it.
01:37 There's no results to speak of,
01:40 and of any kind of significance, right?
01:43 I do like, frankly, McCarthy,
01:46 I think more than anybody else down there.
01:48 I know they don't like him.
01:49 I know they wanted Sean Payton to coach the Cowboys.
01:54 It is what it is.
01:55 But I gotta tell you, I think he's done, frankly for me,
01:58 significantly better than Garrett.
02:01 And I think he's a good coach for them.
02:04 And as always, I think they're wildly overrated.
02:09 Wildly.
02:10 It's just the same nonsense every year.
02:14 Haven't people gotten over this ridiculousness
02:16 of America's team and the Deltas?
02:19 I get it, they're worth more than everyone else.
02:21 I get it, they're valuable.
02:22 I get it, they got 100,000 fans in the stadium.
02:26 I got it, they got another several million
02:29 that love them in Texas.
02:30 And nationally, I get their stardom, fair enough.
02:34 But it's been so long since they were good,
02:37 everybody needs to just have a nice coffee or something,
02:41 chill out, because they are the most overrated team
02:44 in all of sports.
02:46 There's no team, tell me what team in sports,
02:50 in any sport, gets more absolute bullshack juice
02:55 than the Dallas Cowboys get every year.
02:57 And they never live up to any of it.
02:59 I mean, honestly.
03:00 - No, they never do, that's for sure.
03:03 We'll see if they can go a little bit further this year.
03:06 Of course, they lost that tough game to San Francisco
03:09 in the playoffs a year ago.
