00:08 The 65-year-old Rebecca Cardenas was helped to escape from Santa Monica, San Simon, Pampanga.
00:18 "I'm getting pregnant."
00:20 "I'm diabetic."
00:22 "I can't carry her in the rain."
00:25 Their rain has been unbearable, just like the other barangays. Some even got wet.
00:31 But some residents refused to evacuate.
00:34 This family chose to stay in their jeep.
00:38 "We are worried about the children."
00:41 "I don't want to stay here anymore. We are tired of this."
00:45 "Why don't you want to leave?"
00:47 "Because we have too many cargoes."
00:49 According to the PDRRFO, San Simon is among the most affected by the rain in Pampanga.
00:54 It is also affected by Macabebe, Masantol, Candaba, and San Luis.
00:58 The traffic was also affected by the NLEX motorists in the northbound lane.
01:02 San Simon is just about to enter.
01:04 The rain has to be stopped because almost half of the road is in the upper part.
01:08 In some parts of Pangasinan, transportation is also difficult because of the rain.
01:13 This tricycle is almost sinking.
01:16 The roads in Tagupan City are also flooded.
01:19 This is a big problem for the businessmen.
01:24 The LGU is doing everything to solve the flood.
01:28 "Number one is dredging. Number two is elevation of road."
01:32 "And of course, the drainages should be bigger."
01:36 "The volume of rainwater is not enough."
01:40 Relief packs are already in 10,000 families.
01:44 More than 500 families were evacuated to the evacuation center.
01:48 Some are already sick.
01:50 The CADA Evacuation Center has a nurse.
01:53 The supply of medicine is enough.
01:55 It includes vitamins, maintenance medicine, and medicine against leptospirosis.
