00:09 - Yeah, so there were a couple bangers here.
00:11 I think the two big ones that I see are Paul Seawald
00:14 going from Seattle to Arizona
00:16 and Aaron Savali going from Cleveland to Tampa.
00:19 Real quick on Savali going to Tampa,
00:21 that was a one for one deal for Kyle Manzardo,
00:23 who's a first base DH prospect,
00:25 but he can play first base at a pretty solid level.
00:28 Manzardo struggling this year.
00:30 He's having a down year.
00:31 You look at his numbers in AAA, they're not what they were.
00:34 And I saw some people saying,
00:36 "Oh, he's regressing as he climbs levels."
00:38 If you call in a thousand OPS regressing to a 980 OPS,
00:42 like truly regressing, I don't know if I can help you.
00:45 So Kyle Manzardo is one of the better and safer bats
00:48 in minor league baseball.
00:49 This guy's busting out a 940 OPS.
00:52 And I think it's like 35 homers and about 120 driven in
00:56 in 180 minor league games.
00:57 So it's a little over a full major league season.
01:00 He's been incredible and he was blocked.
01:02 Tampa has so much talent, man.
01:04 I mean, where is he finding a spot in the corners?
01:07 'Cause you got Yanni Diaz at first,
01:09 you got Isak Peredes at third,
01:10 and you're not DHing Manzardo.
01:12 They're gonna move Jonathan Aranda too, I assume,
01:14 'cause there's too much traffic there.
01:15 So there was a lot going on.
01:17 Tampa gets a controllable starter in Savali
01:20 and Cleveland gets a really solid bat in Manzardo.
01:22 But the big one that told me
01:24 that this was truly a seller's market
01:27 was Mariners' closer Paul Seawald going to Arizona
01:30 for a trio of guys.
01:31 Josh Rojas, who is a current Arizona Diamondback.
01:34 Dominic Canzon, who is on prospect list for Arizona,
01:37 but he is a current Arizona Diamondback.
01:39 And then Ryan Bliss, who sat a big time breakout year
01:42 and was one of two reps
01:43 for the D-backs in the Futures game this year.
01:45 That was a massive haul for a closer like Seawald.
01:49 I was thinking Arizona could be in contention
01:51 for Pirates' closer David Bednar.
01:53 They opted for Seawald and they paid a hefty price for him.
