00:00 A zoo in China is pushing back against bizarre claims that some of its animals may not be
00:06 animals at all.
00:08 Jeremy Roth explains in today`s "Take a Look at This."
00:12 This is a bear.
00:13 We swear.
00:14 That`s basically the message a Chinese zoo is trying to get across to fight online allegations
00:19 that this bizarre looking bear is in fact a bear and not some dude dressed in a bear
00:24 costume.
00:25 After video of the Malayan sun bear standing on its hind legs and looking uncannily human
00:30 went viral, it fueled rumors and conspiracy theories on social media, because, well, it`s
00:36 social media.
00:37 The zoo released a pithy statement written from the perspective of the bear, saying --
00:41 I`m Angela the sun bear.
00:43 I got a call from the head of the zoo asking if I was being lazy and found a human to take
00:48 my place.
00:49 Let me reiterate again to everyone that I am a sun bear.
00:53 There you have it, folks.
00:54 Looks like you naysayers are just going to have to grin and bear it.
00:58 Hooray for Hollywood, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation officers, for taking care of
01:04 a big scaly scary scofflaw that got loose in a neighborhood.
01:08 Trappers tracked and took into custody the wily crocodile, which didn`t exactly go quietly.
01:13 It put up quite a fight.
01:16 While alligators are quite common in Florida, American crocodiles are much more rare and
01:21 are listed as a threatened and protected species.
01:24 Finally, can you spot the man hiding in this shot?
01:27 It`s kind of like a real world "Where`s Waldo?"
01:30 If "Where`s Waldo?" was way easier.
01:33 Texas authorities posted this drone video showing a suspected car thief, they say, donned
01:38 a bright orange road crew uniform and then hid in a stark white patch of brush.
01:42 If by some chance you haven`t spotted him yet, don`t worry, the fuzz did.
01:46 For "Take a Look at This," I`m Jeremy Rahn.
