00:23 And sometimes, we are the number one in the world as a source of plastic in the sea and in the world.
00:30 Most of it comes from rivers and estuaries.
00:35 There are also many reasons for the waste in the drainage and irrigation.
00:39 But how can the non-rotting materials be used as furniture?

00:50 starts at this recycling factory by French environmentalist Francois Lesage.
00:56 Every day, thousands of plastic waste are brought to this plant in Montinlupa.
01:00 These are recycled and later used as furniture and trash that becomes a waste.

01:08 There is a machine here where the plastic is crushed first, like bottles, toothpaste tubes, and tetra packs.
01:16 Once crushed, it is mixed in a special mixer and then crushed to become eco-box and eco-lumbers

01:27 At present, the company has more than 200 collection points of plastic waste in Metro Manila
01:35 that is being helped by the French Embassy to spread it to the whole country.
01:40 As we are working to set up a major plastic recycling factory to scale up our impact
