Reports that Oregon and Washington are headed to the Big Ten could spell the end of the Pac-12.

00:00 Things on the realignment front are changing so quickly that by the time I finish taping
00:07 this video, things could be changed one more time.
00:11 But as we know now, as we understand things, it appears that Oregon and Washington will
00:17 in fact leave the PAC-12 to join the Big Ten Conference.
00:21 If that happens, and if Arizona State and Utah follow Colorado and Arizona into the
00:28 Big Twelve, well then there's not much left to what we knew as the PAC-12 Conference.
00:33 It would be Stanford-Cal, Oregon State, and Washington State.
00:38 And that's not a league, that's just four teams looking for an explanation and a solution.
00:44 There are not a lot of great solutions for Cal, unless the Big Ten comes calling and
00:49 says we're going to go 20 schools, not 18, but there are other schools out there on the
00:54 East Coast that are making noise about leaving their conference, including Florida State.
00:59 So who knows how the Big Ten or other conferences would view those opportunities versus say
01:04 Cal or Stanford.
01:06 You would like to think that Cal and Stanford, if they joined another conference, would go
01:09 as a package.
01:10 But these days, anything goes.
01:12 We have no idea what might happen.
01:15 Right now, it doesn't look good for the PAC-12 and it doesn't look good for Cal.
