LiverpoolWorld's George Priestman was on hand to ask Everton manager Sean Dyche about their goalscoring issues as they finished last season as the league's lowest scorers.

They have signed Youseff Chermiti and Arnaut Danjuma and already have Neal Maupay and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

00:00 Hi Jean, George Peaseman, Liverpool World. I just want to talk about the striking options you've got this year.
00:05 You're looking like you're going to have at least three or four players who could potentially play down the middle and maybe one more coming in.
00:10 Does that fill you with hope, given that you were the league's lowest scorers last year?
00:14 Well, it's something that a trend that we have tried to affect last season with goals from other areas,
00:19 obviously Dwight and Duke being two players who certainly adjusted to that challenge.
00:24 I don't think it's just about strikers. It's very helpful if you've got strikers who are scoring and on form, that's obvious.
00:29 But we found different ways of affecting games.
00:32 Statistically, we hope that the stats come back to us because it's unlikely you have another season where three strikers get, I think it was four goals.
00:40 So that's unlikely. You never know, but that's unlikely.
00:43 So that alone, we want to change that stat and help them to do that as strikers.
00:47 And if we can bring the right people in, then we will do.
00:50 Okay.
