NFL 2023 DFS Preview: These Chiefs' Players Look Valuable!

00:02 - Season amongst Chiefs wide receivers in half point PPR,
00:07 there were only three instances of a Chiefs wide receiver
00:10 scoring 20 or more points.
00:12 And that was in a year that the Chiefs gained 7,000 yards
00:15 as a team, that was 500 more than any other team.
00:19 They scored 25 more points than every other team in football.
00:23 They had the most passing touchdowns.
00:25 They had the greatest yards per attempt.
00:27 The passing offense was unquestionable,
00:30 but Juju Smith-Schuster scored 20 or more twice.
00:33 McCole Hardman did it once in a game
00:35 where he scored three touchdowns.
00:37 The rest of the team did nothing.
00:41 Travis Kelsey obviously was incredible,
00:43 110 receptions, 1300 yards, 12 touchdowns.
00:46 Smith-Schuster was disappointing and injured.
00:49 MBS was disappointing.
00:51 McKinnon got involved as a receiver,
00:53 nine receiving touchdowns,
00:54 but Hardman and Watson and Sky Moore and Kedarious Tony
00:58 and all of these guys, they really underwhelmed.
01:01 And I think the tendency we have is obviously just to react
01:06 to whatever it is that we most recently saw.
01:08 So the reaction would be,
01:09 oh, well, the Chiefs wide receiver stink
01:11 and it doesn't matter.
01:12 It's Kelsey and then it's just a bunch of guys.
01:14 And obviously that very well could happen again.
01:18 But I do think just, you know,
01:21 these guys all being attached to Patrick Mahomes
01:24 means they're kind of all good bets.
01:26 Like honestly, every player listed here on our graphic
01:29 is kind of a good bet
01:30 because of exactly what Craig just said.
01:33 You never know who's gonna be Deion Branch,
01:35 who's gonna be Kevin Falk,
01:37 like who is gonna be Rex Burkhead,
01:39 the guy who is completely unheralded, who comes in.
01:43 There, it's a totally uncertain depth chart.
01:45 You know, who is gonna be the guy who benefits.
01:48 And I think they all sort of have
01:49 their own individual arguments to being that guy.
