Ex-Raiders WR Henry Ruggs III Sentenced to 3-10 Years in Prison

00:05 following a November 2021 car crash that led to the death of a 23-year-old and her dog,

00:11 former Raiders Henry Ruggs III has officially been sentenced to between 3 and 10 years in prison.

00:17 Ruggs was released from the Raiders less than 24 hours following the crash.

00:21 Before Ruggs received his sentence, he apologized to the family and parents

00:26 in a statement that he read inside the court.

00:28 Ruggs also said he plans to address the dangers of drinking and drunk driving as part of his healing process.
