00:08 Loki season 2 is now rumored to show Mobius' jet ski, Sel and Origen, to be during the
00:13 years that Thanos had dusted half of all life out of the universe, which I love to hear.
00:17 Not just because it aligns with Renslayer's origin as a high school principal during this
00:21 period, but it finally sounds like Marvel might be tapping into what I have been calling
00:25 and begging them to do, blip fiction.
00:28 Through flashbacks and Daredevil born again to the new TVA timeline destinations in Loki
00:33 season 2, I'm going to break down the 15 scenes that take place during the blip in
00:37 MCU history so far, and why it's now looking likelier than ever we will finally get some
00:42 major context of what really happened during that time.

01:02 Okay, in the MCU timeline, Thanos' snap occurred in May 2018.
01:06 You know the events, Thanos snapped in Wakanda, where half of the Avengers there dusted, along
01:11 with several heroes on Titan, Nefturi and Maria Hill vanished in New York, the Barton
01:14 family dusted in Missouri, Yelena Belova dusted, students at Midtown High School dusted, Hank,
01:20 Janet and Hope Van Dyne dusted, half of everybody dusted.
01:23 In the immediate aftermath, June 2018, Carol Danvers rejoined the Avengers, that was in
01:27 the Captain Marvel close credits scene, and she was able to track down Tony Stark and
01:31 Nebula marooned in space.
01:32 The Avengers regrouped, they located Thanos on the Garden after he destroyed the Infinity
01:36 Stones, and Thor beheaded him.
01:37 Now, Avengers Endgame from here jumps five years into the future, showing how the world
01:41 evolved, and we know what it looked like there, Liberty Island and Citi Field were deserted,
01:45 whales were in the Hudson, there were therapy groups, Avengers dealing with garbage missions
01:50 and underwater earthquakes and talking about it on Zoom calls, Clint Barton started killing
01:54 cartel guys and Yakuza guys, the Starks moved to a farm, Thor was fat and sad in New Asgard,
01:59 Smart Hulk posing for selfies, and Scott Lang returned thanks to a rat and inspired the
02:03 Avengers Time Heist, yada yada yada.
02:05 But other MCU titles have indicated another timeline of blip fiction that went down in
02:10 these interim years, and I went back through every recent Marvel title to track down every
02:15 single historical noteworthy thing that happened during those five years, and there are 15
02:19 of them.
02:20 So, to cover our bases here, the later seasons of Agents of SHIELD do technically take place
02:23 during these years, but they involve some alternate timeline mechanics that don't really
02:27 unfold on the same exact turf of the blip-stricken Earth in the way that we're talking about
02:31 in this video, so please watch Agents of SHIELD, it's so good, and at this point, the MCU would
02:35 just be better off if they just declare Coulson to be alive canonically and confirm all of
02:40 Agents of SHIELD events to be MCU canon, because in my mind, they are, they'll just make things
02:43 better.
02:44 Here are the 15 new MCU blip fiction scenes as we know them to be, starting with Mintal
02:48 A 2018, T'Challa II, aka Toussaint, is born in Haiti.
02:52 See, after T'Challa dusted, Nakia, pregnant with his child at the time, relocated to Haiti
02:57 and raised Toussaint there.
02:58 Ryan Coogler's original script for Black Panther 2 was going to explore the timeline during
03:02 the blip in which T'Challa was dusted and suddenly returned to find his son being raised
03:06 by a stepfather.
03:07 So, Toussaint's birth, very big deal.
03:08 Then, Fall 2018, Hunter B-15 finds Rebecca Tormine, Renslayer's original pre-TVA identity,
03:14 in Fremont, Ohio, in Franklin D. Roosevelt High School.
03:16 We saw this in Loki Season 1, Episode 6, and we know it was the Fall because there
03:20 were posters for an upcoming Homecoming game.
03:23 And Homecoming is always in the Fall.
03:24 Then, we're going to say sometime early in the blip, Late 2018, Bruce Banner and Tony
03:28 Stark met up in Mexico in a gamma lab that Tony had built for Bruce, as we learned in
03:32 She-Hulk Episode 1.
03:33 But this is where I spent a blip fixing myself and integrating the Hulk/Banner identities.
03:38 Tony built it for me a few years ago.
03:41 Tony Stark.
03:42 We also know that during this time, Bruce and Tony built a bar and sat around drinking
03:46 and talking about Steve Rogers.
03:47 - You built this bar by hand?
03:48 - Yeah, me and Tony.
03:49 Well, Tony mostly drank.
03:50 Just sat around, like, complaining about Steve.
03:51 - Oh, Steve.
03:52 - What's a little awkward about this is that based on Morgan Stark's age in Avengers Endgame,
04:02 another significant event, Late 2018, Morgan Stark would have had to have been born during
04:06 this time, meaning that Tony Stark, her father, was wasting away in Margaritaville with Mark
04:10 Drunkalo while his wife had a newborn.
04:13 - Are you out of your mind?
04:14 - Now, from here, we jump ahead to mid-2020, in which Bruce Banner successfully merged
04:18 his Hulk identity with his Bruce Banner identity, a process that he said took 18 months.
04:23 - 18 months in the Gamma Lab.
04:25 I put the brains and the brawn together, and now look at me.

04:32 - So, smart Hulk born during this time.

05:31 Next, we know from set photos of Daredevil Born Again that at least part of that series
05:35 will take place in March 2020 in the MCU timeline, with a church sign reading March 15th, 2020.
05:41 So Matt Murdock survived the snap and spent at least some of the time as a Daredevil vigilante
05:46 patrolling the streets of Hell's Kitchen in the MCU.
05:49 Okay, next.
05:50 Sometime during the blip, Shang-Chi's sister, Zhu Xiling, stopped waiting for Shang-Chi
05:53 to come back and left the Ten Rings compound to establish the Golden Daggers Fighting Club
05:58 in Macau.
05:59 She told Shang-Chi that she waited six years, which based on that movie's timeline, we went
06:03 back through it, that would place the Golden Daggers being founded in mid-2020.
06:07 - Three days turning to a week, a week turned to a month, and a month turned to six years.
06:13 - Which would make sense that the Golden Daggers Club would have been built during the blip.
06:16 It kind of just seems like a blip thing.
06:18 We also know that there were a series of blip-related tragedies during this time.
06:21 So to be determined sometime in 2020, Monica Rambeau's mother, Maria Rambeau, died when
06:26 her cancer returned, according to Dr. Harley in WandaVision episode four.
06:29 - Maria died three years ago.
06:31 - No, no, no, no.
06:33 - Which was two years after you...
06:35 - After I what?
06:37 - After you disappeared.
06:39 - And sometime after Maria Rambeau's death, Tyler Hayward took over SWORD and suspended
06:43 the astronaut program.
06:44 This would also be sometime mid-2020.
06:47 - Lost half my personnel in the blip, and half of those remaining have lost their nerve.
06:50 The program hasn't been the same since you've been up there.
06:53 - Now also pretty tragic, sometime during the blip, sometime between 2018 and 2023, Dr.
06:57 Nick West, colleague to Dr. Stephen Strange, while he was dusted, his cats and his brother
07:02 died.
07:03 - While I was gone, I lost both my cats and my brother.
07:08 - And then also sad, but, you know, less tragic during the blip, also 2018 to 2023, Mr. Harrington,
07:14 Martin Star's character from the Spider-Man Home trilogy.
07:16 He had his wife fake her dusting and leave him.
07:19 - Did I tell you how my wife pretended to blip out?
07:23 Turns out she ran off with a guy in her hiking group.
07:25 We had a fake funeral for her and everything.
07:27 Well, the funeral was real, but it's 'cause I thought she was really dead.
07:30 Do you want to see the video?
07:31 - Now, yes, there were other cultural responses to the blip during this time, like a general
07:34 resettling around the globe and refugee groups like the Flag Smashers taking over new homes.
07:39 San Francisco built a memorial to the dusted.
07:41 Wales returned to the Hudson and boats moored up to Liberty Island.
07:44 Kate Bishop was excelling in her academics, her gymnastics, and her fencing during these
07:48 years.
07:49 And Maya Lopez, Echo, grew of age.
07:51 And in the later years of the blip, Flynn Barton became the Ronin assassin identity.
07:54 We're going to call this mid-2021, Barton killed many members of the tracksuit mafia,
07:59 including Maya Lopez's father, which we saw in a flashback in Hawkeye episode three.
08:03 Also at some time during the blip, Wong became Sorcerer Supreme in Doctor Strange's stead,
08:07 which we learned about in No Way Home.
08:08 - The Sorcerer Supreme has higher duties, yes.
08:10 - Wait, I thought you were the Sorcerer Supreme.
08:12 - No, he got it on a technicality 'cause I blipped for five years.
08:16 - Oh, well, congratulations.
08:17 - Now, the latest rumor from the cosmic circus is that the Loki season two scene that is
08:22 visible in the trailers, set in that parking lot for Piranha Power Sports that sells jet
08:25 skis, or I think you can see Mobius in the background there, that is set in Cleveland,
08:29 Ohio, one year before the Battle of Earth and Avengers Endgame, which would set this
08:33 at October 2022.
08:34 And it makes sense, jet skis, that's one way to relieve stress during an apocalypse.
08:38 Now, why does it look like both Mobius and Renslayer were originally normal folks living
08:43 during the blip before they were taken by the TVA?
08:45 Was there something during those blip years that made them particularly vulnerable to
08:49 be taken by a decaying variant T who remains?
08:51 Well, it's worth noting that at least some of the episodes of Loki season two are being
08:54 directed by Dan Deleu, Marvel VFX supervisor who originally coined the term the blip.
08:58 And Loki, as a time travel series, could take this opportunity to show us little vignettes
09:03 of the world during this dark time, both the tragedies and the victories, the heroes and
09:06 the villains, and the healing and the relapsing.
09:08 So just to recap, some of the things that happened during that five years later gap
09:11 period of 2018 to 2023 that we don't really talk enough about, T'Challa Jr. was born,
09:16 Renslayer worked at a high school, Stark and Banner built the Gamma Lab, Morgan Stark was
09:19 born, Smart Hulk was created, Matt Murdock was around, the Golden Daggers Club was founded,
09:24 Maria Rambeau died, and S.W.O.R.D.
09:25 shifted its priorities, Clinton Barton pissed off Echo, Wong became Sorcerer Supreme, and
09:29 Moby sold jet skis.
09:31 Also, according to Secret Invasion, one million squirrels immigrated to Earth somewhere in
09:34 there.
09:35 So my question for all of you is, did Kang allow the blip to happen so that he could
09:38 recruit grief-stricken loners from a forgotten chapter of history for his workforce?
