00:02 >> Elsewhere around the world of sports, the Women's World Cup,
00:06 that will be the final this weekend between Spain and England.
00:10 Obviously, it was disappointing from a performance perspective to see
00:14 the pre-tournament favorites, the two time defending champions,
00:17 entering this month's World Cup down under.
00:20 The Americans get bounced in the round of 16 by Sweden.
00:24 But Rick, from a TV ratings perspective, how disappointing was it for
00:28 Fox that the US Women's National Team exited early?
00:31 >> My sense is it's two or three rating points difference,
00:34 maybe even a little bit more.
00:36 And it was set up for that first round of 16 knockout round.
00:41 If they had won their group, they are on prime time the night before.
00:45 They're relegated to 6 AM.
00:47 People watch it, but not as many.
00:49 And so streaming and the numbers with Fox will be tremendous for
00:54 two in the morning and four in the morning.
00:56 But frankly, they're kind of just paddling for survival and
01:00 getting into the next quadrennial, which is a big one.
01:04 The Men's and Women's World Cup here in the States, Mexico,
01:07 Canada on the men's side as well, four years from now.
01:10 So the American women's team has already made a major coaching change, as we know.
01:15 So I think only to go butt up.
01:17 But the only key right now for Fox is they're doing a good job.
01:21 It's the best broadcast nobody's watching.
01:23 So survive and move on.
