00:00 So how much have you noticed growth for you heading into the season from
00:05 especially this guy right here that just bumped in.
00:07 >> I feel like good.
00:08 I feel like we all bounce off each other, teach each other things.
00:11 If I'm doing something wrong, Jabbar would tell me.
00:13 If Jabbar doing something wrong, Thaddeus would tell him.
00:15 So we all have a great culture in the DB room.
00:19 >> Is it feel like this is your year?
00:20 This is kind of the year to step up, the year to take ownership and
00:23 everything like that for you?
00:23 Cuz I definitely feel like an older guy in the room now, I definitely feel like
00:27 it's time for me to give back to the program just how the older people, KT,
00:32 E3, Liger, Mullen, Trent, all of them gave back to me when they were older.
00:36 So I feel like it's my time to give back to the program and
00:38 pass down my knowledge.
00:39 So I definitely feel like that's my role.
00:41 >> What's maybe the one thing that you guys kind of came into this season?
00:44 Cuz obviously the defensive secondary, you guys look well towards the end of
00:47 last season, but there's kind of that middle part of the season to live up to
00:49 the DB mantra.
00:51 How much of a prove it season is this for the secondary as a whole, do you feel?
00:55 >> I feel like really internally it's just be the best we can be and
00:59 let everything else sort itself out.
01:01 So we don't care about the hype and the hate and all that.
01:05 We're just working within ourselves and the outcome will sort itself out.
01:10 So we're just trying to be the best we can be.

01:14 >> Where are you at with the comfort level?
