00:00 I'm Ariella Scalise and it started
00:01 off a gorgeous day and temperatures
00:03 are climbing but comfortable.
00:05 Upper 70s low 80s for a lot of us,
00:07 but the humidity generally lower.
00:09 That's changing though.
00:10 Watch as the green starts
00:11 to take over the map.
00:13 So heads up,
00:14 it's going to feel more like August
00:15 as we head into the end of our week
00:18 and the higher humidity helping to
00:20 support some of those storms that
00:21 will be moving on through.
00:23 We've seen some storminess to start
00:24 off our day and we're still watching
00:27 for strong to severe weather as we
00:29 head into the weekend, especially.
00:30 Eerie down through Pittsburgh,
00:31 Cleveland and Columbus.
00:32 Flooding downpours and hail localized
00:33 damaging wind gusts also possible.
00:35 That means winds could be anywhere
00:36 from 50 to 60 mph.
00:38 Accurate or local storm acts up to 70,
00:40 so continuing to watch some of these
00:42 storms pushing on through as we head
00:44 throughout our evening hours and again,
00:45 these could pack a punch with the
00:47 damaging wind hail flooding downpours
00:49 as we head into tonight and then
00:50 early tomorrow morning there could
00:52 be some impact to travel as storms
00:54 continue to sink farther South.
00:55 Looking at the storm threats
00:57 as we head into Thursday,
00:58 the risk for some,
00:59 which means severe thunderstorms
01:00 possible in parts of the area.
01:02 Columbus,
01:02 Pittsburgh,
01:02 Charleston,
01:03 West Virginia hail and flooding
01:04 downpours and also those strong winds.
01:06 So Pittsburgh you have storms in
01:08 the forecast for the next several
01:09 days as temperatures and humidity go up,
01:11 but then it looks like some nicer
01:13 weather returns as we head into
01:15 the end of the weekend.
