Rizal showcases oldest known work of art in PH

People visit the Angono-Binangonan Petroglyphs, which are carved into a wall of rock in Binangonan, Rizal. A photo taken on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023, shows the carvings that consist of 127 human and animal figures from the late Neolithic era, or before 2000 BC. They are the oldest known works of art in the Philippines. The site has been declared by the National Museum of the Philippines as a National Cultural Treasure in 1973.
