Marcelo H. Del Pilar bronze bust unveiled at Natl Press Club

Members of the National Press Club (NPC) of the Philippines and other government agencies lead in unveiling the bronze bust of Marcelo H. Del Pilar at the NPC building in Intramuros, Manila on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2023, in celebration of National Press Freedom Day. Del Pilar is widely regarded as the 'Father of Philippine Journalism,' having written 150 essays and 66 editorials, mostly published in La Solidaridad.
