00:02 - How did that first group get going?
00:05 How does a group of Brunson, of Edwards, of Ingram,
00:10 of Bridges, and of Jaron Jackson Jr. come off?
00:13 And there was actually folks,
00:15 I saw in the last couple of breaks,
00:17 go into Twitter or X or whatever,
00:19 to hell Eli Musk, whatever the hell his name is,
00:23 calls it today.
00:24 Brendan Ingram seems to be frustrated.
00:28 And Kevin and I have talked about,
00:30 if there's someone that could lose their starting spot,
00:35 it could be a guy like a Brendan Ingram.
00:38 So when you have a guy that is struggling,
00:41 that's not playing well,
00:42 that's having a hard time adjusting to his role,
00:46 what do you do if you're Steve Kerr?
00:49 You try to get him going early.
00:51 So I'm going to watch early on,
00:55 and even though I may bet the first quarter Greece,
00:58 if I see them try to get B.I. going,
01:01 and he knocks like his first shot or two down
01:03 early in the game,
01:04 that's going to be a really good indicator
01:07 of what the US team, especially the starters, can be.
01:11 And maybe that's what I would look to play
01:13 maybe the United States, maybe later in the game.
01:15 Maybe I think the United States in the third quarter.
01:18 If it's a tight game, you bring back the same starting five
01:20 and you keep getting Brendan Ingram going.
01:23 So there are ways that when you go into games like this,
01:26 where you have a big favorite of 20 plus points,
01:29 where you don't have to take the whole game.
01:32 You can take it in chunks.
01:34 You can take it at the half,
01:36 take a half the game, end game,
01:38 and get them off to a little slow start.
01:39 And then here comes the second unit.
01:41 You can look at how Brendan Ingram starts
01:43 and take the third quarter and say,
01:45 they're going to jump out.
01:46 Or with the bench, maybe you take the second quarter
01:50 and say, they're going to make the run here
01:51 because this is where the United States makes a difference.
01:54 You don't have to play the whole game.
01:57 There are a lot of different, almost,
01:59 you know, we call it a coaching world mini games.
02:01 Like we would call it like five segments.
02:02 We would call, you would split a quarter in half.
02:05 So there's a bunch of segments you could play.
02:07 You can take smaller segments of the game, Joe,
02:10 and make yourself money going through
02:12 what you think is going to happen
02:14 based on how the USA is playing
02:15 with the starters and the reserves.
