00:00 I did a lot of stuff. I really thought the like and this was probably like the biggest
00:06 Eye-opening experience outside of getting cut, you know that other stuff
00:10 I thought it's just a year before we had won national championships. I came back to Tuscaloosa
00:15 Thinking that I would be able to get a job somewhere
00:19 Several people
00:22 You know
00:25 One one to like go to lunch or whatever and under the premise of a job interview and then we'd eat lunch and they'd
00:31 be talking about nothing but Nick saving and Mark Ingram and
00:34 At the end of the family also what's up with that job?
00:38 And we don't have any opening so that was where that was like one of the biggest frustrations is that you know
00:44 People would hey come interview for this job and I'll have no job experience like, you know
00:50 I like I wasn't think I thought I was getting like special treatment because I played at Alabama's that we're gonna go to lunch
00:55 It's gonna be coming to the office for the for the job interview, you know
00:58 and then they just switch it up on me at the end and
01:01 long story short math on myself. I did a lot of things like I
01:06 Cleaned apartments, you know when you move out an apartment people had like
01:10 Somebody comes in there paints it cleans it to get ready for the next person. I was doing that
01:15 I was working for a company there in Tuscaloosa
01:18 I can't remember the name but they cleaned
01:21 factories
01:23 Like pulp mills paper mills, you know things like that would shut down and then we go in there and clean it
01:28 which is it doesn't sound like much but it's dangerous because they would use water lances, which is like a
01:33 We call it a pressure washer a pressure washer on steroids
01:40 People were out there losing fingers and toes, you know off of this stuff. I worked for coca-cola for a little bit
01:48 Worked on the rest on arsenal up in Huntsville and that's you know
01:50 I thought that that was where I'd be forever and then that ended and I just came to Birmingham and sold out to
01:57 To fighting and you know, like I said, I'm not I don't like at the time
02:02 I didn't understand I was very resentful towards the University of Alabama, but at the end of the day
02:07 If I'd have got me that cush job or whatever, then I would have never found fighting. I never would have fought and so
02:14 Yeah, I you know, I needed to go through that
