00:27 In the city centre I think. It's everywhere. Everywhere is all bad.

00:32 Do you think the roadworks are worse at the moment than they are usually in the city?

00:38 Yeah. Yeah, because they're changing all the roads.

00:41 I know they're doing everything to all the roadworks but the roads never seem to be any better.

00:46 All the potholes are still right, they're having everything. It's never really been sorted.

00:51 It's not working to get rid of that.

00:59 It's very difficult to tell because it's difficult to get into Sheffield in general.

01:03 So, round about the old Grosvenor Hotel has always been a nightmare for some time.

01:11 They seem to be shutting off roads more and more, discouraging motorists coming in there.

01:16 So, I tend to park on the perimeter and walk in.

01:19 Yeah, it's definitely got too many. It's always had too many.

01:23 Westbars, going down past the old fire museum and onto the dual carriageway down there.

01:30 Does it feel like we've got more than usual at the moment?

01:32 Yeah, definitely. Especially with the road closures still in place from Covid and bus gates being added.

01:41 Could you tell me please if you think Sheffield's got too many roadworks at the moment and where the worst ones are in your opinion?

01:47 There seems to be roadworks everywhere but where I live round Greenhill, Bocking Lane, Meadowhead, it's just horrific there.

01:55 Does it seem like more than usual at the moment?

01:58 It does seem like more than usual. They seem to pop up overnight for no apparent reason.

02:03 Well, it's just the whole congestion, isn't it? From Ettlesall Road to Aberdale Road, all the traffic lights.

02:11 In the evenings and in the morning, it's just chock-a-block.

02:14 Is that down to the roadworks?

02:16 Well, it's a bit of everything. Waterworks, gas main, everything.

02:21 I don't think the council's got it right to be honest.

02:30 Yeah, but even got to look round at the state of things.
