It's too early for polls to mean much
Transcript
00:00 It's still real early in the season, so it's hard to say how much impact or
00:05 importance that AP poll rankings have at this point.
00:09 Colorado got bounced by 21 points and they're still in the top 25 at number 25.
00:16 They're 0-1, so I don't know.
00:18 I don't put a whole lot of credence in the rankings at this point.
00:21 Cal didn't get any voting points.
00:25 I thought they might get one or two, but Auburn, the team that Cal
00:28 plays on Saturday, got three voting points, which is not much.
00:33 That puts them about, what, 35th or something in the country
00:36 if they would go down that far.
00:38 So, I mean, the Pac-12 is doing very well.
00:42 They're 13-0, the only conference with no losses yet.
00:46 They have six teams in the top 25 and UCLA is just two out.
00:52 They would have been 27th, so they're close to having a seventh team in there.
00:57 But as I say, these rankings at this point don't mean a whole lot.
