00:00 Well now we can bring you some breaking news we're getting from Ukraine this afternoon
00:04 where at least 16 people are reported to have been killed in a missile attack in the Donetsk
00:10 region in the east of the country. This is not far from the front line but we're hearing
00:15 that a market and a pharmacy are among the sites that have been hit. The Ukrainian leader
00:20 Vladimir Zelensky is warning that death toll could rise still further. Well let's get the
00:26 very latest on this. Gulliver Crag is our Ukraine correspondent. He's with me now from
00:30 Kyiv. Gulliver, give us a few more details about where in the country this took place
00:36 and what we know happened. Well it seems it's the town centre of Konstantinivka which is
00:41 the town in Donetsk region, the Ukrainian health market in Donetsk region of course.
00:46 About an hour or half an hour depending how fast you drive, drive west from Batmut before
00:52 Batmut was occupied by Russian forces of course. So it's in a way a town where there are a
00:58 lot of soldiers, a military rear if you like, but it's also a town where significant numbers
01:04 of civilians remained and where some semblance of daily life was still going on and it's
01:10 apparently a market in the city centre as you said that's been hit and unfortunately
01:15 when there's a death toll so quickly of 16 already confirmed and it's a populated area
01:22 where people were shopping it's pretty much certain that that death toll will rise. Vladimir
01:27 Zelensky, the Ukrainian president writing on Instagram said that this should serve as
01:32 a reminder for anyone thinking that it might be possible to negotiate or reach a deal with
01:37 Russia, a reminder of just what kind of regime we're dealing with.
