00:18 The news that Shelo Magno resigned as Finance Undersecretary
00:27 was due to his Facebook post.
00:30 Here, he posted a graph about the Law of Supply and Demand
00:34 and said that he missed teaching as a former associate professor at UP School of Economics.
00:40 He did not say in the post what the graph was about.
00:44 But some commented that some of Magno's fellow professors have a patent.
00:50 Magno also tried to teach to those in the government
00:54 by showing the graph to the Department of Agriculture and Department of Trade and Industry.
00:59 There is speculation that it has something to do with the controversial price cap
01:05 for rice that rice retailers are complaining about.
01:10 In the statement of Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin,
01:14 he said that Magno's appointment was terminated
01:17 because it is clear that it does not support the administration
01:21 and its programs in nation building.
01:23 Magno will continue to go to the administration's police
01:27 and let the public know through social media
01:32 before President Bongbong Marcos is reinstated.
01:37 Bersamin is supporting the free expression
01:41 but it is not clear which part of the administration is the person who is listening to this.
01:47 We listened to Magno's statement but he said that he will not give a statement first.
01:52 In his new social media post, Magno showed a letter from the Office of the President
01:58 saying that his tenure in the DOF has expired and it is effective.
