00:00 Drama YouTuber Keemstar has revealed how much he made after covering stories
00:03 about fellow YouTuber Jake Paul. Welcome back to What's Trending, I'm Ava Gordy.
00:07 Like this video and subscribe for more stories. Let's be real here, Jake Paul has
00:11 taken over YouTube in the past six or seven months. In just the last 30 days,
00:15 he's gotten 1.3 million subscribers, 458 million views, and Social Blade
00:21 estimates that he made between $114,000 and $1.8 million. Now that's quite a huge
00:27 margin, but we can assume that it falls somewhere within the average of those
00:31 two, which is still insanity. Even a song released by Jake and his brother Logan
00:35 Paul have a lyric about the rise of the Pauls and YouTubers using that to their
00:39 advantage. "Just name in your title and you can pay this month's rent." Which is exactly
00:44 where Keemstar comes in. Keemstar is the creator of a show called Drama Alert on
00:48 YouTube where he talks about drama in the online entertainment world. And he
00:52 took to Twitter earlier this week tweeting, "Shout out to Jake Paul for
00:55 indirectly buying my new car for me." With a screen grab of his estimated revenue
00:59 being $164,399.36. Just for a little nice comparison, I checked out my
01:08 revenue on YouTube and oh, would you look at that? $14.47. I could
01:13 afford a new car too and even have some cents left over. Now the report that
01:19 automatically comes up when you click on your revenue is in the past 28 days.
01:23 We're not sure if that's exactly what Keemstar was screen grabbing because
01:27 technically you can click on any video and figure out the revenue from that
01:30 specific video, but in the past 28 days he's had Jake Paul in his title 24 times.
01:35 And of the four videos without Jake Paul in the title, three of them have had Team
01:40 10 in the title. If you don't know, Team 10 is Jake Paul's company, business, friend
01:47 group... I don't really know. Jake Paul's pals maybe. So hey, at least Keem is
01:52 giving credit where credit is due. So at this point, it seems that Jake is truly
01:56 the talk of YouTube and if you use that to your advantage and talk about all of
01:59 his antics, you could be making a lot of money, which is probably what Jake wants
02:03 you to do in theory. He does antics, so you talk about the antics and then if
02:08 you talk about the antics and his name is out there more, I mean, you're making a
02:12 lot of money and like he probably doesn't care about that, but he wants to
02:16 be talked about. Let's just admit it. And hey, here's another video about it. So we're
02:21 doing it too. So guys, do you think Keemstar is doing YouTube right or should
02:25 he stop talking about Jake Paul altogether? For more trends like this, go
