00:00 If you haven't heard by now, Felix, aka the guy behind YouTube's most popular
00:04 channel PewDiePie, is saying that he's going to delete his channel when it hits
00:09 50 million subscribers. The Swedish gamer is YouTube's highest earner and he says
00:14 that he's frustrated with YouTube constantly changing its algorithms. "Can
00:17 someone just stop YouTube from their self? I feel like YouTube is like a
00:21 toddler." Other YouTubers have expressed the same frustration with their video
00:24 views dropping as well as their subscribers. Felix also said that YouTube
00:28 had been unsubscribing him from channels he had originally subscribed to. That's
00:32 scary because imagine if he's saying that how many other people are
00:35 experiencing that and don't even know. YouTube told the BBC that they haven't
00:38 made any changes to the algorithm and that they haven't noticed that anyone is
00:42 getting automatically unsubscribed to channels that they are already following.
00:45 I don't know, just being in the trenches of this industry and very friendly with
00:50 a lot of big creators, there have been a lot of talks about this happening and
00:55 also creators feeling like their videos aren't going to their subscriber base.
00:59 Like they'll literally tweet subscribers and say "Do you see this video in your
01:03 feed?" and they have been told "No." That was my spiel, okay? Speedy Bloopy comments
01:09 "Only 60k to go. It's probably going to happen tomorrow." Drycon says "Please don't
01:13 delete this channel. I don't care if you start a new one, but at least let us
01:15 enjoy all the good vids you got on this one." Linda comments "I honestly hope this
01:18 is a joke." Tear emoji face. Now a lot of people aren't sure I guess. He might be
01:23 doing this just to get attention and we are all talking about it. It was trending
01:26 everywhere. For more trends like these just go to whatstrending.com.
