00:02 >> Yeah, all right, so let's start off with this absolutely bizarre story here
00:07 from Michigan State University, Mel Tucker, the head coach, allegedly, again,
00:13 having an issue with a woman who apparently came in to talk about,
00:17 I mean, I don't even know how to put this, making sure players do the right thing
00:23 as far as harassment and things like that is concerned.
00:27 It's hard for me to word here just because I'm just not sure about this entire
00:32 situation.
00:33 I guess what I'm trying to say, Bill, it is so hard for me to believe that
00:37 Michigan State University would be doing the right thing,
00:40 bringing somebody in to talk about harassment.
00:43 And now the woman who's brought in is accusing the head coach of harassing her.
00:49 I mean, it's the craziest story to start off with this morning.
00:52 >> Right, and it really was late Saturday night when news of this story kind of
00:56 broke and it was making the rounds.
00:58 And I thought Graham Couch of the Lansing State Journal covered this very well with
01:02 his column when he put it succinctly that Mel Tucker has probably coached his last
01:06 game at Michigan State.
01:08 Now there is a Title IX investigation and
01:10 he's suspended without pay formally right now, that's what's going on.
01:16 And for Michigan State, a school that's had a couple of these scandals,
01:20 it's just a bad look.
01:21 Now, they're bringing in Harlan Barnett and Mark D'Antonio,
01:25 the former coach who resigned among NCAA allegations when he retired.
01:30 So it's a really bad look for Michigan State.
01:33 It takes away, like you said, on the field, they should be welcoming in Washington in
01:37 this big, one of the better games of a poor week three schedule.
01:41 And now this will be something that looms over the entire campus.
01:44 Bizarre story, don't like talking about it obviously, but
01:47 these things can't happen.
