00:00 Kind of you've been the veteran with the receivers.
00:02 Is there anything you learned from AJ about being the veteran with the receivers?
00:07 >> Just handling your business as a professional man, as a man.
00:09 Like I said, he wasn't too vocal.
00:12 But when he stepped on that field and you had any questions to how to run things or
00:16 be consistent at something that he was always knew how to win and
00:21 in coverage and he leveraged.
00:23 He was so strong and powerful that he can just utilize his body to
00:27 get into areas where the defense can't play on.
00:31 >> Do you have any favorite memories from the AJ Green days?
00:36 >> I was just telling him I think the main ones that hit me is my third year.
00:39 I forget what year it was him that the Falcons catch the game winner down in
00:42 Atlanta.
00:43 And then here, but our second game of the season when he tours the Ravens,
00:48 since we planned them, so I gotta go.
00:50 >> Word on the street is that you are his son's favorite player.
00:56 He has one of your jerseys.
00:58 Rocks one of your jerseys.
00:59 What do you think about that?
01:01 >> Yeah, I mean, it's cool because I've still been around.
01:05 His kids probably remember me because he's still been playing with me at that time.
01:09 And I mean, it just shows a lot of respect that I'm still mentioned around his
01:14 household and he still respects me and we're always gonna be brothers.
01:19 >> When I know it's the way back machine, but every time you play Baltimore,
01:24 you think about the play 2017, you beat him on the last play and I'm going way back.
01:31 >> Yeah, that's my go to favorite memory at all times.
01:35 The catch, the micro catch, winning it, that was probably my catch in my career.
01:42 But just going forward, man, I've been having a lot of good games going against
01:46 the Ravens at Baltimore, but they have a great defense.
01:48 So everything has to be earned and nothing's gonna be given.
01:53 So I was gonna go out there and prepare myself to have a huge game every game.
01:58 >> What's been the response of just the group this week after losing when you
02:01 guys did on Sunday?
02:02 >> Just tighten up, man.
02:04 It'd been a lot of first game, get that out the way.
02:07 Now, we about business.
02:08 It's time to come out there and we gotta execute.
02:10 That's what it's all about.
02:12 You can say whatever you want.
02:13 We didn't play preseason.
02:14 If we did, we would have got one drive.
02:16 I mean, that wasn't nothing anyway.
02:17 So and then just start fast, man.
02:21 We can't keep getting three now, especially on the offensive side,
02:24 cuz the defense played a heck of a game, man, all around.
02:26 Got two turnovers and we still end up not winning the game.
02:29 So as long as we get the offense going, I think we'll be fine.
02:32 >> What's it like coming back here to pay court for the first time this season?
02:37 >> It's huge.
02:37 It's gonna bring us energy.
02:38 Home games, you always got a little bit more life and energy going on in the
02:43 atmosphere, and now we get the cadence.
02:45 We can go on our own cost.
02:47 And just getting that boost, just getting that hometown camaraderie,
02:52 hometown feeling, it's nothing like it.
02:54 So I mean, hopefully these fans can help us bring this win in.
02:58 >> You weird to play the same team three times in a row in this building?
03:01 >> Yeah, man, I felt like we played them every single game, the last five games now.
03:05 And they probably know it just as good as we know them.
03:07 So that's the good thing about it.
03:09 It's gonna be definitely a hard fight, fight game, divisional game again.
03:12 So we gotta go out there and play one of our best games.
03:15 >> By the time Wednesday rolls around,
03:17 do you bury whatever happens, the week before, good or bad?
03:20 >> Yeah, I mean, Tuesday, hey, you get the update.
03:23 Wednesday, come, you don't even think about it.
03:24 It is what it is.
03:25 We'll see them boys.
03:25 End of the year, hopefully, we solidified ourselves and
03:29 they got their plan for a playoff spot or whatever.
03:32 But we're just looking into the next game.
03:34 We gotta get past Baltimore, then so forth.
03:37 But we gotta take it game by game.
03:39 And just as long as we win our battles and I'll execute these guys,
03:43 I mean, we would pretty much have a good season.
03:46 >> Is it easier as a vet to take it week by week and not think about, all right,
03:51 things piling up or whatever?
03:52 At what point in your career do you feel like, all right, let's get comfortable?
03:56 >> Yeah, I mean, it kind of varies a lot because it depends on what you do in that
03:59 game previously that you felt like you could have done better.
04:02 I mean, everybody can feel like that regardless of how good of a game you play.
04:05 And then the next week coming around, you're still gonna look back like, dang,
04:08 I still wish I did this, that game.
04:10 So with that in mind, you're gonna always just know,
04:14 if that come back up, I'm not gonna let that happen again.
04:18 I'm gonna be on top of it, of an unfamiliar look that I'm getting or
04:21 whatever the case may be, then I'll be ready for that.
04:23 But you gotta get that out your mind and just move on.
04:28 >> Did you notice Joe Burrow's haircut?
04:30 >> Yeah, I mean, it was clean.
04:35 I mean, I don't know what else to say about it.
04:36 But yeah, I guess it's new him, he ready to go.
04:39 >> He said he knew it was time to switch it up after Sunday's game.
04:44 Are you a guy that thinks that that can be the difference?
04:46 >> No, no, to be honest, I didn't really recognize,
04:52 I didn't really know, so yeah.
