00:24 were at least not transferred.
00:27 The police approves the dismissal of eight cops involved in the killing of 17-year-old
00:31 Jemboy Baltazar.

00:37 plan.
00:40 The Facebook page of SMNI News, the media arm of Pastor Apollo Quiboloy's megachurch
00:44 The Kingdom of Jesus Christ, becomes unavailable.
00:48 As of Friday morning, September 15, the URL facebook.com/smninews says, "This content
00:54 isn't available right now."
00:56 This message appears if privacy settings prevent a certain user from accessing the content

01:03 Before it became inaccessible, SMNI News had around 2.3 million followers and 960,000 likes
01:08 on Facebook earlier in September.
01:11 This comes after Quiboloy's Facebook was removed from the platform in August this year.
01:16 YouTube also took down the channels of Quiboloy, SMNI News, SMNI Program, Laban Kasama Ang
01:21 Bayan, and The Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
01:23 Quiboloy was indicted in the US for sex trafficking charges and bulk cash smuggling, among others.
01:34 Local police confirm a lawyer, Maria Alzate, was shot dead in broad daylight in Abra.
01:39 The Abra Provincial Police Public Information Office chief tells Rappler, Alzate was killed
01:44 at around 4.55 p.m. Thursday along Santiago Street, Zone 2, Bangued Down.
01:50 She was killed right in front of her house.
01:52 Based on the initial investigation, the victim was inside her white car parked in front of
01:57 her house when two unidentified assailants shot her.
02:00 After shooting Alzate, the assailants fled on their motorcycles towards Barangay Consiliman
02:05 in the same town.
02:06 One of the assailants was seen wearing a blue polo shirt and dark cap.
02:11 Nearby local police stations are already conducting hot pursuit operations for possible identification
02:16 and arrest of the assailants.
02:20 Budget Secretary Amena Pangandaman claims the contingent funds given to the Office of
02:24 the Vice President in 2022 were released, not transferred.
02:28 A chunk of funds given to the OVP became part of the office's confidential funds.
02:33 In a letter addressed to the House of Representatives, Pangandaman argues contingent funds can be
02:37 released, as provided by Special Provision No. 1 of the Contingent Fund of the 2022 General
02:43 Appropriations Act.
02:44 This, even though a financial report downloadable from the OVP website classifies the fund as
02:49 a transfer.
02:50 Pangandaman's attempt to clarify in technical terms appears to be in response to criticisms
02:55 that the process amounted to a violation of the Constitution.
03:01 The National Capital Region Police Office approves the dismissal of the eight policemen
03:05 tagged in the killing of 17-year-old Jemboy Baltazar.
03:09 The NCRPO spokesperson says the eight policemen have 10 days to file a motion for reconsideration
03:14 against the order.
03:15 On August 2, police killed Baltazar while he and his friend were cleaning their boat
03:19 in a river near their home in Navotas City.
03:22 Baltazar sustained gunshot wounds in the head and hand and fell into the water after he
03:26 was shot.
03:27 Meantime, the Department of Foreign Affairs says the 17-year-old who murdered Kuwait-based
03:32 overseas Filipino worker Julie Biranara is convicted of murder.
03:36 The 17-year-old is sentenced to 15 years in prison for murder and also faces an additional
03:41 year of imprisonment for driving without a license.
03:44 The Philippines has halted the processing of applications for first-time domestic workers
03:48 bound for Kuwait following Biranara's death.
03:53 Actress Neri Miranda comes under fire after sharing a sample 1,000-peso weekly meal plan
03:57 on Facebook.
03:58 Neri's meal plan detailed a variety of specific dishes allocated for breakfast and lunch for
04:03 a whole week, while the entire dinner portion of the menu is labeled "leftovers."
04:08 The meal plan was further broken down into the proteins, grains, starches, vegetables,
04:12 and miscellaneous items needed to cook the food she specified in the post.
04:16 Numerous online users questioned Neri's meal plan, with some calling it unrealistic.
04:21 One user says she ends up spending 1,500 pesos lamenting that it's still not enough.
04:26 Neri later updated her original post, apologizing for not mentioning she would usually get the
04:31 eggs and some of the vegetables she listed for free.
04:34 Neri's Facebook post has since been deleted.
04:39 And that's today's wrap.
