00:13regarding her confidential expenses in previous years in a House hearing Tuesday, August 27.
00:19ACT teacher's representative, Franz Castro, says the notice of disallowance
00:23slapped by the Commission on Audit is tantamount to misuse of public funds.
00:27She adds, the misappropriation of confidential funds
00:30and her refusal to offer an explanation are clear basis for impeachment.
00:35She says Duterte's stonewalling of legitimate questions regarding her use of public funds
00:40showed disrespect for the basic principles of checks and balances, transparency, and accountability.
00:45In an interview with Rappler, Manila Rep. Joel Chua says,
00:50If she continues to act that way,
00:54maybe we will call for the reduction of her budget.
