Time for an unsponsored Gymshark Ultra Seamless review!! This was Gymshark's most hyped collection of the summer featuring a soft seamless design in NEON colors!! The colors of this collection are stunning and really stand out! The only question is.. are they squat proof?!   In this review, we go over gymshark ultra seamless sizing, material, squat test, cellulite, and more! I got ALL the colors and every piece of the collection, so this is a full review! 00:08 They've launched literally so much in the past few weeks

00:11 that I purchased all of it.

00:12 And they even had like three extra launches

00:15 like that they launched with this

00:17 that I didn't tell anyone about,

00:18 but they couldn't hide it from me.

00:19 So I got that too.

00:28 Okay, so as we can see, the Ultra Seamless Collection

00:30 is a super like bright neon collection.

00:33 And obviously it was pretty popular

00:34 because I believe all of the shorts are sold out,

00:36 which I'm a little surprised 'cause I'm not a shorts girl.

00:39 But I did get a pair of shorts.

00:40 I got the sports bra, crop top,

00:42 and all three colors of the leggings

00:44 because I kinda wanted to know if they were squat proof.

00:46 And by kind of, I mean really,

00:48 I heard that the orange was like not even stand proof

00:51 from one of my friends.

00:52 So these are all like in the regular Gymshark price range

00:55 around $55 for leggings, 40 for a sports bra.

00:58 So you're gonna be paying around $100 for a set.

01:01 I personally love Gymshark's seamless designs.

01:03 I think their seamless designs are much better

01:05 than any of their leggings with,

01:07 I think I need to put this down now.

01:09 I think their seamless designs have definitely been

01:11 some of their most popular ones in the past.

01:13 And they've definitely been some of my favorites from them.

01:15 I feel like other people were a little more excited

01:17 about this collection than me.

01:18 I do love bright colors

01:19 and I think the neon is really cute.

01:21 But I just really don't like asymmetric designs.

01:23 I just like, they're not for me.

01:25 I really like symmetry in my active wear.

01:27 Since the sports bra is asymmetric,

01:29 I'm interested to see like how I'll like it.

01:31 I think the leggings and the shorts look really cute.

01:33 Hopefully they're flattering.

01:34 Hopefully they're squat proof.

01:35 They probably won't be.

01:44 First, we are going to talk about

01:45 the ultra seamless leggings.

01:47 These leggings are $55.

01:54 They come in this like electric blue color,

01:56 the little pinkish red color and the orange.

01:59 Okay, I honestly was expecting

02:00 kind of a different material out of these.

02:02 They are meant for training.

02:04 The waistband is a super thick,

02:05 like double thickness ribbed waistband.

02:07 Here's the ribbing.

02:08 Then it continues to be ribbed down the side of the leg

02:11 all the way to the bottom.

02:12 I don't know why, but I was expecting these

02:13 to be kind of like that more like slick

02:15 kind of energy seamless material, but they're really not.

02:18 They're really kind of like a thick,

02:19 like almost like cottony,

02:21 like, but still performance material.

02:23 You're not gonna get pills with this fabric.

02:25 It's not brushed, but it's also not that like cool

02:27 to the touch, like slick texture.

02:29 It's kind of unique.

02:30 I kind of feel like this is going to feel

02:31 pretty like heavy weight.

02:33 So it's definitely not a lightweight legging

02:34 and these do feel like pretty heavy.

02:36 The logo is just a vinyl stick on

02:37 and it's also really small compared to most of their logos,

02:40 which is kind of interesting.

02:41 Wait, okay, guys, there's some tea.

02:43 Gymshark actually put a warning on their website that said,

02:46 "May not appear fully squat proof when stretched."

02:50 Gymshark has never posted this on their website.

02:52 I've had some incredibly sheer leggings from Gymshark.

02:55 Let me tell you, like the sheerest leggings I've ever tried

02:58 and they did not post this.

02:59 I guess now they're trying to be a little more transparent.

03:01 I know Alphalete did this with their Revival leggings,

03:04 but I honestly found their Revival leggings

03:05 like pretty squat proof.

03:07 So like, I appreciate the disclaimer

03:08 because a lot of people don't feel comfortable

03:10 in like sheer leggings,

03:11 but also like what's this like deal with,

03:13 like may not appear fully squat proof.

03:15 You either are or you're not squat proof.

03:17 Like, I don't know about appear,

03:19 like it should just say it is sheer but full stretch.

03:22 I just looked up Alphalete's disclaimer.

03:24 Alphalete says that their leggings

03:25 are semi-sheer at full stretch.

03:27 It's much more straightforward than may appear sheer.

03:30 I give you an A for effort Gymshark

03:31 on like trying to tell people that it's not sheer,

03:33 but just say that it's sheer

03:34 because now I'm expecting these are gonna be a little sheer.

03:37 Okay, let's try them.

03:39 So I'm not upset with these leggings.

03:40 I do have to say, I already kind of like bent over

03:43 in the mirror and you could see my entire butt crease.

03:46 All right, here they are.

03:48 I love the color.

03:49 They're like this super, super neon pink color.

03:53 The waistband is really compressive

03:55 and really sucks you in.

03:56 These definitely run true to size.

03:58 The small fits me perfectly.

03:59 They're honestly super stretchy

04:01 and they were really easy to get on.

04:03 They really compress you down,

04:04 but also like give you a lot of room to move.

04:07 They definitely feel like a little tight when I do this.

04:10 You can see that it's pulling a little bit.

04:13 Gymshark seams tend to be a little tight for me.

04:15 I think the ribbed panel detailing is really flattering

04:18 and it's honestly just like really soft.

04:20 So there's no booty contour or anything on these leggings.

04:23 So if you'd like a more subtle legging

04:24 that's not like here's my butt, these are cute.

04:27 Medium compression, very flattering.

04:28 Definitely good for like a training day in the gym.

04:30 I don't love how the crotch region

04:32 is kind of like bubbling up and stretching a lot.

04:35 These definitely are my correct size.

04:37 Like they fit me really well in the waist and everything

04:39 and they fit me basically everywhere, but yeah.

04:43 I'd actually say these are cellulite friendly

04:44 because the fabric is pretty thick and knit

04:47 and it also has an decent amount of compression.

04:49 So you'd probably be okay with a little bit of cellulite,

04:51 but it's not like totally cellulite proof.

04:53 So there's no camel toe on these,

04:55 but you can see the little gusset crotch

04:57 like pretty distinctly, which like I don't love that for me.

05:01 In terms of the booty scale,

05:02 they'd probably be about a medium.

05:04 They are compressive, but honestly,

05:06 they're not squishing my butt down too much.

05:08 And the waistband is like pretty high

05:10 and goes above the butt line.

05:11 Actually my butt's looking pretty good in these,

05:13 not gonna lie, so maybe medium high.

05:15 You can see some of the little like detailing here.

05:17 They just have like a lot of little like small details

05:20 on the leggings that are just woven into the fabric,

05:22 which are really cute.

05:23 Something that I think is kind of weird

05:24 is that these lines, like they're kind of not smooth.

05:27 They kind of look like pixelated.

05:28 They go like straight up, straight up, straight,

05:31 but they're not like completely straight.

05:32 So I don't know, it doesn't really bother me,

05:34 but just something to note.

05:35 I'm going to put a little squat proof rating

05:37 of all of the colors,

05:38 but if you're looking for a squat proof legging,

05:40 these are probably not your go to.

05:42 So I thought I would squat test these

05:43 with some like regular colored full underwear.

05:47 You can completely see them when I'm standing up.

05:50 That is so bad, oh my God.

06:00 Now for the ultra seamless sports bra.

06:17 Wow, this is neon.

06:18 I did not realize how like neon this orange was on camera.

06:21 So this sports bra is $40

06:22 and they advertise it as a medium support,

06:24 which I feel like it will be.

06:25 It actually looks like it has a decent amount of coverage

06:28 and the fabric is decently compressive.

06:30 So I feel like you could actually get away with this

06:31 with a larger chest.

06:32 I just like don't love the asymmetric designs, honestly.

06:36 It's not for me.

06:36 I would have just appreciated if it was like a high neck.

06:39 Some people like this,

06:39 so it's honestly just a personal preference.

06:41 But yeah, as you can see on one side,

06:43 they have kind of this little open detailing in the front

06:45 and then all of it goes into like

06:47 this little crisscross detail in the back.

06:49 They have the little logo in the front corner.

06:51 They have some little details like around the armpit region.

06:53 It's kind of like a little knit situation.

06:56 They have another logo in the back of the sports bra

06:59 and the bra band thing is like

07:00 a double thickness ribbed material.

07:02 Okay, here's the sports bra.

07:04 So first of all, this color looks really cute

07:06 with a little tan, I must say.

07:08 I just really, I really, really don't like this.

07:11 I hate asymmetrical designs and I don't know why,

07:13 but I feel like whoever Gymshark's new designer is

07:16 just loves asymmetrical designs

07:18 because they've come out with so many recently

07:20 and they're just like not that cute.

07:21 Obviously that's my opinion,

07:22 but I feel like some of you guys have agreed with me.

07:25 I don't know.

07:26 First of all, I would just like to say,

07:28 since this fabric is kind of sheer,

07:29 you can like, oh, is that with the pads?

07:32 You can really see the pads

07:33 and that's a pet peeve of mine.

07:35 I could take out the pads,

07:37 but I just feel like if you're gonna put the pads in,

07:39 they shouldn't be visible.

07:41 A lot of companies do this, so it's not just Gymshark,

07:43 but this is so real.

07:44 I really hate it.

07:45 I am going to admit when I put this on at first,

07:47 this side was over here.

07:49 It was definitely difficult for me to get on.

07:50 I was not having a good time

07:52 just because of this whole asymmetrical deal.

07:54 I would definitely agree with the medium support.

07:56 I thought it would be like a little bit more compressive.

07:58 It definitely has compression and it has this high neck,

08:01 so it's definitely not a light support,

08:03 but I would not say high support.

08:05 I would have liked like a little more

08:06 of a plain sports bra since they do have the crop top.

08:09 I don't really love like what they're doing with this,

08:11 but the little straps in the back are cute.

08:14 I like that they're like spaghetti straps

08:16 and this neon is just like, it's really fun.

08:18 The little under armpit detailing is cute as well.

08:22 Overall on the sports bra, I think it's okay.

08:24 If you like asymmetry, a little difficult to get on

08:26 and then you can like definitely see the pads.

08:28 I also had like quite an issue getting these pads on

08:31 because the top is honestly just kind of hard

08:32 to get on itself.

08:33 So yeah, that's the situation with the sports bra.

08:38 Now the ultra seamless crop top.

08:45 This was also $40 and it's like a cap sleeve

08:48 kind of compression crop top situation.

08:51 It has some similar detailing to the sports bra

08:53 and the leggings all around.

08:55 And then it has these two little holes in the back.

08:57 I guess this would kind of show off

08:59 like the little sports bra strappiness if you like that.

09:01 I think the crop top is great

09:02 if you want a little more coverage and support

09:04 than just the sports bra alone,

09:05 because having this double layer of compressive fabric

09:08 is definitely gonna like hold you down.

09:09 I do think this is a great option

09:11 if you want like a little more coverage and everything.

09:13 I personally don't love short sleeves on me,

09:15 but if you don't like showing off like too much skin

09:17 and too much like shoulder and everything,

09:18 this would be really cute.

09:20 Okay, here's the crop top.

09:22 So it's definitely super cropped.

09:23 As you can see, the sports bra is like right underneath there

09:26 but it's really not moving around when I lift my arms.

09:29 It's super compressive and tight

09:31 and it definitely adds like an extra element

09:33 of like support to the bra.

09:35 So I feel like with the bra and this crop top,

09:37 it's definitely a high support.

09:39 I got this in my normal size small.

09:41 Sometimes I wear a medium in tops,

09:42 but I kind of wanted a little more compression for this.

09:44 I don't know what it is about short sleeves.

09:46 I just don't think they're personally

09:48 like my favorite thing in the world,

09:49 but my mom just walked by and she said it was cute.

09:52 So I don't know.

09:53 You can definitely see the sports bra underneath this,

09:55 which like I don't love.

09:56 I don't know why Gymshark doesn't design their stuff

09:58 so you can wear it together because like, I don't know.

10:00 I don't like that you can see that.

10:02 There's some contour detailing up here,

10:04 some contour detailing on the shoulders.

10:06 So maybe you're supposed to like

10:07 define the shoulders a little bit.

10:09 I don't know.

10:09 The little cutouts in the back,

10:11 you can see some of the bra straps.

10:13 Overall, I do think that Gymshark does a great job

10:15 on their seamless tops.

10:16 I think it's really compressive.

10:17 It's really soft.

10:19 And if you're looking to add like a little more support

10:21 and coverage to like a sports bra,

10:22 I think this is really cute.

10:26 And now the elusive ultra seamless shorts.

10:32 I didn't realize these would sell out so fast.

10:34 Luckily I got on the Gymshark website

10:36 like right away when it launched.

10:37 These look like a solid four inch inseam short.

10:39 Seamless shorts are kind of hard to come by.

10:41 I feel like I mostly see like

10:42 Lululemon dupe style shorts.

10:44 So these look pretty similar to the leggings.

10:46 I'm already noticing some slight differences.

10:48 It looks like they'll have somewhat

10:49 of a little booty contour detail.

10:50 It's not like exactly a booty contour,

10:52 but they do have this kind of shaded region

10:54 like under the butt,

10:55 which maybe will like lift a little bit.

10:58 But yeah, these feel super lightweight.

10:59 These are definitely perfect for summer.

11:01 So yeah, I'm interested to see how these will be.

11:04 So here are the shorts.

11:05 Honestly, they feel exactly the same as the leggings

11:07 in terms of the waistband.

11:09 Very compressive as you can see.

11:10 Goes right above the belly button.

11:12 So very flattering height.

11:13 Also just very tight on my waist.

11:15 And I do not see this waistband stretching out at all.

11:18 I think it has a lot of elasticity

11:20 and I think it'll hold its shape.

11:22 As you can see, some of these little details

11:23 are a little different.

11:24 It has this little contour detail

11:26 and it kind of curves the front.

11:28 So I think they did a great job

11:29 with like the design of the shorts.

11:30 I think they look really cute.

11:31 So the shorts are like compressive

11:33 while being stretchy at the same time.

11:35 My only complaint is that I could probably not go

11:37 for a medium in these shorts.

11:38 I feel like I would have too much extra room and stuff.

11:41 But like the little band at the bottom of the shorts

11:44 is really tight.

11:45 And it's like cutting into my thighs.

11:47 And this is honestly why I don't wear shorts.

11:49 So many shorts do this.

11:50 And like they just needed to make this little band

11:52 at the bottom less tight.

11:54 It's just kind of squishing my little like upper thigh fat.

11:57 It's just not cute.

11:58 It's squishing a little bit there too.

12:00 It doesn't feel like it's constricting a lot.

12:03 And these definitely feel like they're gonna stay on

12:05 and they're not gonna like roll up for sure.

12:06 But I think they are definitely really cute and summery.

12:09 Very bright.

12:10 And if you don't want the legging option,

12:12 these are a lot more lightweight.

12:14 I just wanna quickly make a note

12:15 that the inside of this fabric is literally so soft.

12:19 It feels like the inside of a really fluffy sweatshirt.

12:22 And honestly, it makes these so comfortable.

12:24 I'm like pretty impressed.

12:26 Do you see how soft this is?

12:56 And basically everything is really sheer.

12:58 None of the pieces I was like totally in love with.

13:00 The last time I really was in love

13:01 with the Gymshark Collection was the high-waisted flex.

13:04 And I'm just not feeling the same about this to be honest.
