Transcript
00:00 >> I think that we could play a little bit harder,
00:04 finish a little bit more plays, work in progress.
00:08 We're gonna watch the film, see what we can do better.
00:10 But I'm proud of the way we finished the game, we finished the play for 60 minutes.
00:13 >> How do you think TJ did, kind of stepping in for a little bit?
00:16 >> Yeah, I'm very grateful for TJ stepping in there.
00:19 We know what type of player he is, we're gonna bring some ball,
00:21 proud of him, appreciate him for that.
00:23 >> For a second, talking about USF, that was one of the most exotic events back
00:26 in the 0-4 days of the playoffs.
00:28 How did you feel about just that block game?
00:31 >> Yeah, credit for them, they brought a lot of unique stuff.
00:34 They played well, but they did bring a couple of pressures, but credit to them.
00:39 >> What do you think of the job of running backs to get some shots?
00:43 >> Running backs?
00:45 >> Yeah.
00:46 >> We're running back by committee, we appreciate all of them stepping up.
00:49 Radeal did a great job bringing what he does to the table, that fire,
00:52 that energy, so we appreciate him going in there.
00:54 >> What Coach Hayden said a little bit more in that last offensive drop,
00:58 what did he tell them?
01:00 >> Go out there, run the ball, finish up front, and take the clock off.
01:05 >> And what's the mindset going into the weather delay?
01:08 Are you guys just trying to stay warm in the locker room and change things?
01:11 >> The mindset is staying ready, you never know when you get the call back out there,
01:15 staying warm, and just waiting for the next opportunity to get back out there.
01:18 >> When the quarterbacks are changing behind you as well,
01:21 is there any thought to that, or is it just go out there and do your jobs?
01:24 >> For us, I think we just wanna go out there and do our job, but
01:27 we do our job when we're comfortable, make it for anybody behind us.
01:29 So credit to them for being able to switch it up, but
01:32 we just go out there and do our job, and the best we can do.
01:36 >> What did you think about how Ty played today?
01:38 What did you think about how Ty Simpson played today?
01:40 >> He stepped in, he did a good job.
01:42 We're proud of him for stepping up.
01:43 I know it's not easy for him to go in there and step up midway through the game.
01:46 So I'm proud of him.
