UW coach Kalen DeBoer discussed the Husky debuts of Tybo Rogers and Landen Hatchett.
Transcript
00:00 >> You had a couple freshmen make their debuts today, Tybo Landon.
00:06 Tybo for good reason, Landon more for injuries and stuff.
00:09 But how do you see those guys doing?
00:11 What have they done to this point to come back?
00:13 >> Yeah, it's fun to see all the work that they've put in really pay off.
00:17 And I think everyone can see what Tybo is capable of.
00:21 Just he's a physical runner, but he's got this extra burst of speed.
00:26 I know you probably haven't seen it much, but
00:28 he can catch the ball in the backfield extremely well.
00:30 So I just love the last two to three weeks, how hard he's been pushing himself.
00:36 And he's holding himself accountable on another level.
00:39 And we got out there and really had all the confidence in the world.
00:43 And then for Landon, those guys being here, I think, in the mid-year and
00:49 being here for spring ball, it's hard for
00:52 an offensive lineman to step out there and do his thing.
00:55 And we could tell even in the spring with how quickly he picked up everything and
01:00 how confident he was, that he's gonna be a really good football player.
01:03 And he and Parker, being able to play multiple spots and
01:07 just pretty much just not skip a beat.
01:09 It says a lot about Landon and his, not just his potential, but
01:13 how comfortable he is already out there.
