00:00 I want to ask Michael while playing Michigan State too, can you point to anything, how you've had success in this program?
00:06 Did it give you confidence knowing you've won in this building before and you've played well here before?
00:11 Coach is going to be humble, but to be honest it's the play calling and just execution by the guys.
00:18 Coach DeBoer coming in, bringing in the offense in 2019 with us at Indiana, us using that in 2020 and then this year.
00:28 I'm blessed to be able to play for him and Coach Grubb and the offense that they installed for us.
00:35 They just make it easy. Plus having the best receiver corps in the nation, the offensive line, blocking their tails off each and every play.
00:43 Running backs making blocks in the pass game as well.
00:47 It's just so many things that you can look at to the success that we've had against, not just this team but in general.
00:55 Parker Bailey's pretty good, his first start in seven today. How do you feel he performed? Obviously he did pretty well.
01:03 I thought they did a really good job. This is our best game running the football.
01:09 I didn't see the sack total, but I feel, did we have a sack? Yeah, I didn't think we got sacked.
01:15 We continued to move guys around and have to play certain guys in different spots.
01:22 Parker has taken a lot of snaps there, so we had full confidence that he could move from guard to center and make the calls and get everything corrected.
01:33 He and Mike work really well together and understand what they're seeing in front of them and get the protection checks and run calls.
01:40 I'm proud of him, proud of the way he played tonight.
01:43 Mike, some of you guys talked in the offseason about how you thought last year was just a first step with the offense,
01:50 that there was more to do, that maybe you could be even better this year. Do you think that's what you've shown these first three games?
01:56 Yeah, for sure. I've always felt like that. Coming into last season, for me it wasn't my first year in the offense, but for the rest of the team it was.
02:05 That's what I'm saying, being able to come back for another year with the same guys in the offense for a second year is definitely going to be special.
02:12 It's been special so far. We just have to continue to focus on the right things and just go out there and execute at a high level.
02:19 The offense that we're running, Coach Grubb called in plays, he helps us be able to be successful out there.
02:25 All we have to do is execute, and we've been able to do that at a high level, and we want to make sure that we continue to do that.
