(Adnkronos) - Dell’impatto dell’intelligenza artificiale sulle Life Sciences e sull’industria della salute si è discusso in occasione del Bracco Innovation Day, una giornata di lavoro, intiolata “Unlocking the A.I. Revolution - A Symposium on the future of the Healthcare Industry and Diagnostic Imaging in the era of Artificial Intelligence”, alla quale hanno partecipato non solo importanti keynote speaker ma anche il ministro dell’Università e della Ricerca Anna Maria Bernini, intervenuta in collegamento in chiusura dell’evento.

00:00 The Human Technopole auditorium in the technological district Mind in Milan hosted the 2023 edition
00:11 of the Bracco Innovation Day, this year entitled "Unlocking the AI Revolution, a symposium
00:17 on the future of healthcare industry and diagnostic imaging in the era of artificial intelligence".
00:22 As explained by the President and CEO of Bracco Group, Diana Bracco, the Bracco Innovation
00:28 Day is an important event in which researchers of Bracco Imaging face
00:33 prestigious speakers on strategic issues. This year at the center of the event is the
00:38 artificial intelligence and the revolutionary impact it is having on the health industry.
00:43 Also present at the symposium is the President of Human Technopole Gianmario Verona, who
00:47 in his speech wanted to emphasize the importance of complementarity between artificial intelligence
00:53 and the human. The union of the two, says the economist, will allow to reach an even higher level of innovation.
01:00 Concluding with the remote intervention of the Minister of the University and Research,
01:04 Anna Maria Bernini, who has expressed immense esteem and great admiration for the President
01:09 of Bracco Group, the meeting was an opportunity to discuss the multiple and advantageous applications
01:14 of artificial intelligence in the field of health and in particular of diagnostic imaging.
01:20 As regards the industry in which Bracco operates, therefore the diagnostic imaging, we see,
01:27 we are already working on a series of programs that fundamentally have three types of purposes.
01:34 The first purpose is to improve the quality of the image and through this to be able to
01:43 improve the quality of the diagnosis. On this, Bracco has a series of projects that are already
01:50 in an advanced state and that will be launched on the market starting from 2024. In addition to this,
01:59 we are also trying to understand how artificial intelligence can improve the triage of patients.
02:06 The third, if you like, is a bit comprehensive in the sense that, from the moment in which
02:13 technologies that, on the one hand, improve accuracy, perhaps make it more standardized
02:21 and, on the other hand, allow for greater access, this can allow, in turn, an enlargement
02:30 of what are the potentials of diagnostic imaging.
02:34 imagining.
