00:00 I'm joined by Cobden Open Grade Netballer Amy Hammond ahead of the weekend's
00:05 grand final against South Warrnambool. Amy, are you looking forward to it?
00:07 Yes, definitely. Hopefully we can go the extra step this year. It's been a long
00:13 time coming but yeah we're all up and about and ready to go.
00:17 And what do you expect of South Warrnambool? Obviously they're a strong side?
00:20 Yeah, they are very strong. It will be hard to beat them but we can do it.
00:25 They're very fit, they're strong, they're consistent. So yeah, it's gonna be hard.
00:31 But how's the side feeling? Everyone's feeling a bit of belief? Everyone's feeling good?
00:36 Yeah, everyone's up and about. We're ready to go. Our vibe's really good.
00:41 We're not flat so I think that hopefully works in our favour.
00:45 And how have you found the season? You played in Colwack last year, is that right?
00:49 And then you delayed start to the season?
00:51 Yeah, I had a baby in April so I missed the first few games but I didn't think I'd come back into Open but I have.
00:59 The body's holding up good. And yeah.
01:03 And happy with your form as well?
01:05 Yeah, sometimes. I probably could be a bit stronger. I've lost a little bit of core strength I think.
01:12 But yeah, it's okay I guess. If I'm playing Open I must be playing alright.
01:17 And obviously this has been a successful team. It seems to be a good vibe amongst the players.
01:22 Everyone seems pretty united.
01:24 Yeah, this year definitely. Because Open and Div 1 have come really closely.
01:30 We're very connected and we're having a bit of fun this week.
01:33 Just enjoying the process of making a great final.
01:37 And the vibes are good and we're all having fun.
01:40 And we'll hopefully bring that into Saturday and have fun winning a great final.
01:44 Sounds good. Good luck for the weekend.
