00:00Thanks for joining us, we've got the O'Connors in the draft for the grand final. First time you've played in a play-ins, how are you feeling?

00:06It's really hard to believe at the moment. Jen said it herself, she's like, it hasn't really sunk in yet.

00:11It's been a dream of ours for as long as we can remember. I mean, I've been playing in Open for 10 years and you're...

00:17I don't even know, it's been so long, but it's just, it was so overwhelming. I think we were looking at the time,

00:22we've got one of the girls on the bench has the iPad with the time, and I think I only really, maybe when it was two minutes to go,

00:28I was like, yep, we can smile, we've got this, we're good. So yeah, it's good.

00:32Excellent. Ellie, best on court. What did you make of your course?

00:36Bit of a redemption game, really. Last year I found that my nerves overcome me and I think this year, having Jen on court,

00:42maybe that really helped me. I think it allowed me to play my own game and I know her at the back end, I was like,

00:47I've got no stress, so it really helped.

00:49What was it like watching Ellie play today, Jen?

00:52It was just, it was such a relief. I think I was, it was a huge build up to this game and I'd put a lot of pressure on myself for this

00:59and having Ellie out in front, I was like, she's going to get the ball, she's got those intercepts, it's just such a relief.

01:04I was like, yeah, we've got this.

01:06You've had a couple of girls playing their first premierships today as well for the club.

01:09What does it mean to add some more premiership players to the list?

01:12Yeah, it's really special. I think premierships don't come around often, so when they do, you've got to savour them

01:17The girls that have come into it, they've done so amazing, Jen being one of them, Emma and Meg as well,

01:22and they relished on court, they played amazingly and it's a huge credit to the girls that did win, come on.

01:27And it just feels seamless, I think everyone's put in the exact same amount of work,

01:30we all have that much faith in each other because we know everyone's done the work,

01:33so I think it was so deserved and it'll just be an extra celebration tonight.

01:37It's been a big day for the club, a long booklet too.

01:40Absolutely.

01:41What does that mean to see it sort of filtered down to the other grades?

01:44Oh, I think it's incredible and I truly think that so much work has gone into it.

01:49I think, you know, the girls today and everyone behind it, they make it look easy,

01:53but the amount of work that's been put into it and it all is a huge testament to, from the top down, from Will.

01:59Honestly, he's created this incredible program and it's really filtered through, it's so player driven

02:04and I think it's just so deserving, everyone's done an amazing job.
