00:02 On the first weekend of August, on August 3rd,
00:06 the Giants was 12 games above 500, 61 and 49.
00:11 From that point, they are 15 and 27, and
00:14 have really slid out of the National League wildcard race.
00:18 >> By the way, also, yes, they have, and I don't expect big things here from
00:22 the Giants.
00:22 However, from a betting perspective between the Giants and the Dodgers today,
00:25 you know which way I'm leaning towards the Giants?
00:26 Not to win the baseball game and be an underdog price, but
00:29 probably looking more towards their team total.
00:31 Here's the reason being,
00:32 Emmett Sheehan's gonna be on the mound today, right-handed pitcher.
00:35 Over the course of the season, 207 batters he's faced.
00:38 Take a look at his ISO power numbers against left-handed batters, 247,
00:41 weighted on base percentage, 353.
00:43 Flip it over here and
00:44 take a look at how he's done over the past 30 days in Major League Baseball.
00:48 Not a lot of batters here, 46, but of those 46,
00:50 25 have come from the left-hand side.
00:52 Take a look at this, a 273 ISO power number and
00:56 a 393 weighted on base percentage.
00:58 If we know anything about San Francisco,
01:00 they have the ability to stack some left-handed batters.
01:02 And just looking at the preliminary lineup today,
01:04 looks like we're gonna get at least five to six left-handed batters in the lineup
01:08 that could be able to do some damage.
01:09 Not great pitching matchup on either side here, so
01:12 you might wanna lean towards the total.
01:13 But if we're just being crafty here, it's probably a San Francisco Giants team
01:16 total I think might make the most sense here.
