00:00Anyways, we're going back to back in time to race number five.
00:06The breeders Cup Turp Sprint.
00:08This is one of the most fun races every year because they're flying early on.
00:13And what I what I've noticed to Roberto, you were over at Kentucky Downs.
00:17Every turf course doesn't play the same.
00:19The six furlongs are six and a half at Kentucky Downs.
00:22That's way different than the five furlongs here.
00:25That's way different than the six and a half down the hill at Santa Anita.
00:27They're all really unique.
00:29That's why I think that Cadbury has more advantage than everybody else.
00:34Because of what he just did at Kentucky Downs.
00:37And the way how he finished.
00:39However, let's start with the number one.
00:41Believing, and she's been facing Big Eve and Bratzel on three of her last four starts.
00:49Ryan Morrow blinkers on.
00:52You know, it's kind of difficult post position because you have to show either a lot of speed.
00:57Or grab the hold, right?
00:58Exactly.
00:59And you have to wait until the end and come in, you know, flying.
01:02More tourists.
01:03This is a whole different ballgame.
01:05Because I think it's 3-4-3 at Del Mar.
01:08We know he loves the track and he will come flying.
01:12And I think he's gonna get enough pace, you know, to show that late kick.
01:17And our Zach is a good horse.
01:20Remember that he won the Wolf War.
01:21He finished second behind Cotburn, but the last two days that I have been watching him
01:27in the morning, he's too washy.
01:29I mean, he's not looking as good as he used to do, you know, prior to all the breed races.
01:35So we'll see what happens.
01:36When you face the toughest horses, you want to be feeling really good when you're coming
01:39into the race, too.
01:41The number four, Starlust, was third in last year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint.
01:45Had legitimate trouble.
01:46It's just badly hampered and collided with the rail.
01:48The horse was moving up the inside, wasn't going to win or anything, and did actually
01:52bank off the rail.
01:54AG Bullet is in really nice form.
01:57Tried grade one company last time out, going a little too far.
02:00She's three for three sprinting, but those sprints are the longer sprints, going a little
02:04longer.
02:05So while I think she'll be forward in here, I'm not quite sure at the five for a long
02:08distance.
02:09Star of Mystery is a horse who comes absolutely flying late.
02:13So if they go quick early on, she's one of the horses who will come motoring down and
02:17who will pick them all up.
02:18Alexa, I'm going to hand the baton off to you.
02:21Talk about seven through nine.
02:22Yeah, seven is Howard Wolowitz, which isn't that a big bang?
02:26OK, that's a character.
02:29But you know, this horse is a long shot.
02:31Thirty to one morning line, has some early speed and has been improving since switching
02:35to synthetic and turf.
02:36I think it needs to continue to improve to be a real factor here.
02:40He's not going to get the position that he wants early, I don't think.
02:44Number eight, big invasion with Frankie Dettori aboard.
02:47Also a long shot with twenty to one morning line odds.
02:50You know, he got second in this race last year by a neck to no balls.
02:55That was his lifetime best speed figure.
02:57He's come from off the pace, which can be a tougher ask in these really short sprints.
03:03He was following the same pattern as he did last year leading up to this race.
03:07And then he disappointed last out in the D with a pretty slow figure.
03:11So I guess it depends how much you think that's thrown him off, what the reason was for that.
03:17And then number nine, Cogburn with Steven Asmussen and Ira Ortiz, our seven to five
03:22morning line favorite, was on the path to the Breeders' Cup last year and just kind
03:27of threw a clunker in the grade two turf sprint at Kentucky Downs.
03:30This year he had redemption.
03:32He won that race like Roberto was talking about.
03:35Setting records.
03:36Setting records.
03:37Just an incredible performance.
03:39And then, you know, he took that eight month break after the loss at Kentucky Downs the
03:43last time and just came back to be such a monster.
03:47And, you know, they brought him back in the grade two and he won the Jaipur as well.
03:51He's won wiring the field in his last two starts.
03:55So he's a machine and the one to beat.
03:57I think one of those names that everybody's sort of looking at, like, how do you say that?
04:01Issy Bunga Bunga?
04:02I think is that is that one, Berto?
04:04I believe, right?
04:05Issy Bunga Bunga.
04:06Something like that.
04:07There we go.
04:08We'll get there.
04:09We'll get there.
04:10Before Saturday, we'll get there.
04:11The 10 and the 11.
04:12We're still going live out here.
04:13We're hearing an alarm.
04:14You see us all run and we got to go for a fire drill.
04:17That's what's going to happen if the seats are left.
04:18But we're going to keep rolling through this right now.
04:20Berto with the number 11, Big Evs, 10 or 11 or either of those horses on your radar.
04:25Yeah.
04:26Nine, 10.
04:27I mean, I would say nine is the horse to be 12 to, you know, seven probably, you know,
04:31you have to include it if you don't want a single cover.
04:34And Bradsell to the outside, we didn't get a chance to talk a whole lot about this is
04:38a multiple group one winner.
04:40This is a legitimate, legitimate, classy individual.
04:44But the outside draw, that can be really concerning.
04:47Going in post 12, going a short sprint like this.
04:50If he does not come out of the gate flying and absolutely get some position, he could
04:55be hooked really, really wide.
04:56It's the numbers.
04:57She sure won the last race.
04:59Yeah.
