00:07 I'm very excited to talk about season two,
00:09 specifically Bambi and Shelly.
00:11 Obviously things shifted a little bit between them
00:16 towards the end of last season.
00:18 What does their relationship look like in season two?
00:22 - Yes, I think, well, the end of season one,
00:26 we were getting to be really good friends
00:28 and then that led to some other fun stuff
00:33 where we became more than friends.
00:37 And I think it really scared Shelly ultimately.
00:41 And I think she retreated into herself and shut it down.
00:45 And so she's recommitting to her husband
00:46 at the end of season one.
00:47 So season two, she is trying as hard as she can
00:51 to not see Bambi.
00:53 She's not going to the office.
00:54 She's trying to double down on her life
00:57 with her husband and her kids and Bambi seeks her out.
01:01 So we kind of like, it's like a will they or won't they
01:04 in a lot of ways.
01:05 And their relationship really has a beautiful arc
01:09 in the season, I think,
01:10 where we ultimately come to like an understanding.
01:14 Of course, it's also funny.
01:15 - Yes.
01:16 I'm giving her space 'cause I know that she wants it,
01:21 but I would much prefer to be with my sweet Shelly.
01:25 - Yeah.
01:26 - Of course, of course.
01:27 And I loved Shelly's exploration of her sexuality,
01:30 over the course of that season.
01:32 And it's an evolving thing.
01:34 Is that sort of going to continue in season two,
01:36 sort of her navigating that a little bit?
01:38 - For sure.
01:39 In an even arc your way, like it definitely,
01:44 Shelly, when Ellen pitched me this season,
01:47 yeah, I mean, not pitched me
01:50 'cause she was going to write it for sure.
01:52 It wasn't like I had to sign off on it.
01:53 This is what was happening, but Shelly,
01:56 yeah, she goes on quite a journey.
01:58 And a lot of it is about sexual exploration.
02:03 And ultimately results in her making a pretty big decision,
02:08 which you'll see.
02:09 - Okay.
02:10 And we are entering a sort of new era for minx,
02:14 and I know that Elizabeth Perkins is coming in as Constance.
02:18 You know, for you-
02:19 - She's iconic.
02:20 - Amazing.
02:21 - She's the best.
02:22 - Yeah.
02:23 - Jessica, where does Bambi sort of find herself
02:25 in this sort of new chapter?
02:26 - I think Bambi is very lost.
02:30 She has no idea what her purpose is.
02:32 She lost her love.
02:34 I think she's trying to find her place
02:37 and see what kind of role she can step into
02:39 at bottom dollar.
02:42 She tries to be a businesswoman, fails.
02:44 And then she tries to find some sort of like
02:47 familial connection, I think.
02:49 And that's what she's seeking at the end of the season.
02:52 - Okay.
02:53 And then, you know, "Stars Saved" season two,
02:56 which I was so thrilled about, you know,
02:58 how does it feel, in this day and age,
03:00 it's so hard for shows, you know,
03:03 how does it feel to sort of have fans
03:05 rally around you guys?
03:06 It was an amazing thing to watch.
03:09 - Yeah, it feels incredible.
03:10 I mean, yeah, I've been on shows
03:14 where there's been fan support in the past and rallying,
03:19 and it's always meaningful.
03:21 I mean, we go to work every day and we do the work
03:23 and that is it for us, you know?
03:26 But once the show goes out the window,
03:29 it's like, it takes on a new life.
03:31 And it's so meaningful that our work
03:34 is resonating with people, making them laugh.
03:36 I mean, it's such a fun escape, I think.
03:40 And season two, it takes it to a whole new level.
03:43 So you will definitely be having fun this season, yeah.
