00:00 And finally, the controversial HBO series, The Idol, has come to an end.
00:04 Following months of controversy surrounding The Weeknd's series,
00:07 which has been accused of glorifying abuse and bordering on pornography,
00:11 fans of the show learned whether and how Lily-Rose Depp's Jocelyn fared.
00:16 Spoiler alert!
00:18 In the end, Jocelyn appears to be done with The Weeknd's Tedros,
00:21 calling him a con man and a fraud.
00:23 However, six weeks after trying to pay the cult leader to get out of her life,
00:27 Jocelyn and Tedros face each other on stage on the first night of her tour,
00:31 and she introduces him to the crowd as the love of her life,
00:34 before commanding him to stand on the side of the stage.
00:37 So there appears to be a little role reversal here, and Jocelyn's now in control.
00:41 The main question now is, will there be a season two of The Idol?
00:45 Page Six originally reported that neither HBO nor The Weeknd were moving forward with
00:49 a second season of the show after the pop stars reported egomaniacal behavior on set.
00:54 However, HBO had immediately rebutted this report, commenting on Twitter,
00:58 "It is being misreported that a decision on a second season of The Idol has been determined.
01:03 It has not and we look forward to sharing the next episode with you guys on Sunday night."
