00:40 which means it's a good thing for CJ Stroud

00:45 You can say it's garbage time all you want,
00:47 but rookies are gonna rookie.
00:48 So the best thing he could do is just continue
00:50 to get better.
00:51 And I think CJ Stroud's doing that.
00:52 I think you're seeing Robert Woods make contributions.

00:57 and Nico Collins has been outstanding.
00:59 So that trio of wide receivers has been really good.
01:01 The thing that hasn't been good is that run attack.
01:03 And I think you can't really blame too much of it
01:05 on Damian Pierce.
01:07 I think that the blame it on the offensive line injuries,
01:08 first and foremost,
01:09 and in the game scripts where they're getting behind early.
01:12 And I am hard pressed to think this is not another situation
01:16 where the Houston Texans get down early.
01:18 Now, when it comes to the other side here,
01:20 Brees Hall coming off a disappointing week too.
01:22 There's no doubt about it.
01:23 You mentioned the weather issues.
01:24 Okay.
01:25 Well, the weather issues to me mean
01:26 you really can't throw the football as well,
01:28 but you can run the football.
01:30 I think Brees Hall wants to run the football.
01:31 And I think from a defensive standpoint,
01:33 it's hard sometimes to get that lateral movement going
01:36 when you have situations where the field is very wet.
01:39 So in some ways this favors Brees Hall
01:42 as long as he feels he is up to the task.
01:44 And clearly from his statements after week two,
01:48 Brees Hall feels like he's ready for the task.
01:49 So I'm gonna put my money on that guy instead
01:52 and hope that he breaks that one big run
01:54 because we've seen that already.
01:56 He's done it several times.
01:57 Last week, he didn't get enough opportunity to do it.
01:59 I think he gets enough opportunity to do it.
02:01 I think he does break one.
02:02 And he's got some touchdown equity in this game
02:04 that is low scoring.
02:06 But to me, I'd rather put my money on Brees Hall.
02:08 So I'm gonna start Hall and the talent over Damian Pierce,
02:11 who might be healthier, but the offensive line is not.
