00:03 - The Dolphins put 70 up on the Denver Broncos.
00:06 70 points, DRS, 10 total touchdowns.
00:10 The first team in NFL history in a single game
00:13 to have five passing scores and five rushing touchdowns.
00:16 Mike White threw a touchdown.
00:18 Everybody was getting in on the action.
00:20 DRS, it's like they were handing out TDs yesterday
00:23 as the Dolphins beat the Broncos by 50 points.
00:27 - It was unbelievable.
00:28 And let's start with the final point here.
00:29 They got 70 points, the crowd was chanting.
00:31 They were even loud in that game late
00:32 when you're trying to stop the Broncos,
00:34 which I thought was incredible.
00:35 It's a lot of fun being had in South Beach.
00:37 But if I was McDaniel, I would sit over the sideline
00:39 and say, you know what, at the end of the game,
00:40 why did you kick that field goal?
00:42 I owed it to my players.
00:43 Like the players played hard all the way through.
00:45 We didn't have our starters in there.
00:46 And I know how important it is for them to get that 73.
00:49 I wanted to do it for them.
00:49 Sean Payton would have been any more upset
00:51 at giving up 70 than 73 points late in the game,
00:54 'cause it's up to you to stop them.
00:55 And they couldn't do it.
00:56 You had backup quarterbacks throwing bombs
00:58 with backup wide receivers, backup running backs launching,
01:01 you know, darts down the field like Devon Aitchens,
01:03 203 yards.
01:04 Let's get down to the crux of it.
01:06 I sat yesterday on Pro Football Today,
01:08 and I pleaded with the camera at the end of the show.
01:10 My best bet on this was gonna be the Denver Broncos,
01:13 19 and a half as a team total, minus 135.
01:16 I had 13 at the break,
01:17 and I was screaming at my TV all the way through.
01:21 And you know how I actually capped this one off?
01:23 With a Mims kick return touchdown,
01:26 where I was panicking in the streets, Ben,
01:28 that they were actually gonna go for two
01:30 instead of just kick the extra point.
01:31 Thank goodness they were down so many points.
01:33 The two point conversion never even mattered.
01:35 They kicked the extra point and got a victory.
01:37 But I need to ask this question here.
01:39 If the name wasn't Sean Payton as your coach,
01:42 I don't know how you survived this type of loss
01:44 and this type of start to the season.
01:46 It's not as if the Denver Broncos don't have talent.
01:49 It's not as if they don't have a Hall of Fame quarterback
01:51 in Russell Wilson there.
01:52 That's unacceptable to get beat by 50 points on the road.
01:57 And quite frankly, when they scored that 70th point,
01:59 I started to think back on, I've never seen this before.
02:02 I don't even know how it's possible here.
02:04 Sean Payton, I don't know where they go from here
02:06 for the Broncos.
02:06 That was so embarrassing.
02:08 That could be demoralizing, Ben, the rest of the way.
