A couple combined their surnames after getting married to create a new made up last name - to capture their love of beer.
Jessica, 30 - whose maiden name is Shryock - “assumed” she would change her name when she married and wanted to have the same name as her future children.
But when she married Zev - who grew up with the surname Steinberg - they decided to go for a new blended name.
He never thought he’d change his name but was on board with Jessica’s idea.
They decided to mash together their surnames to become Mr and Mrs Steinrock - inspired by their love of beer.

00:18 I felt very conflicted about what to do
00:20 with my last name when we got married.
00:22 Like many people that grow up as women,
00:23 I had just kind of assumed that I would take the name
00:26 of my husband when I got married.
00:27 As I got older, I felt more and more conflicted
00:29 about that.
00:30 I didn't really like the idea of just giving up
00:32 a piece of my identity, but it was also important to me
00:34 that we have the same last name.
00:36 My husband and I did think about hyphenating,
00:37 but the Sherrock Steinbergs is a mouthful.
00:39 We played around with a lot of different iterations
00:41 of our name, like anagram spellings,
00:42 and if we hadn't gone with Steinrocks,
00:44 maybe we would have been the Sherbergs.
00:46 Now, my husband did offer to take my name,
00:48 but at the end of the day, it felt like we were losing
00:50 the piece of his family that I really wanted to keep.
00:53 Ultimately, this choice made the most sense for us.
00:56 This weekend is our five-year anniversary,
00:57 and I gotta say, it was one of the best decisions
