00:02 - Here is Mike Tomlin saying,
00:04 we will not be using that as any excuse this week.
00:06 - We're gonna make it a non-issue, to be honest with you.
00:11 It's in our rear view now.
00:12 As I stand here today, it's a non-factor.
00:16 I got so many days and hours to prepare.
00:18 We have not lost any physical preparation opportunity
00:22 with our football team
00:23 or classroom opportunity with our football team.
00:26 It created a few hours yesterday and today
00:28 that our staff has to absorb from a preparation standpoint.
00:31 Although, as I mentioned,
00:32 technology was a component of that.
00:35 And so my desire is that as we move away from it,
00:38 we talk less about it
00:40 because I don't want it to be an excuse in any way
00:43 or some galvanizing thing in any way.
00:45 No, there's nothing mystical about performance.
00:48 We work, we prepare, we step in the stadiums and we play.
00:51 - I gotta say, Joe, I agree with him.
00:55 Like, I don't wanna hear anything about that.
00:56 Like, watching the game on Sunday, I don't really care.
00:59 Like he said, today's technology,
01:01 they probably all sat on that plane, breaking down the tape.
01:04 What'd the guys lose in real life?
01:06 Like, a couple hours sleep.
01:08 I mean, they got everything done.
01:09 I don't wanna hear about the dopey plane
01:11 if they lose to the Texans on Sunday either.
01:13 I don't wanna hear it.
01:14 - No, at the end of the day, they're professionals.
01:18 You have to deal with adversity and you gotta be dialed in.
01:21 I think the Steelers are just gonna be fine
01:23 in terms of the matchup from a game plan perspective.
