00:05 Shots that portray dogs with their owners in an exhibition that tells the society in which we live
00:10 through the gaze of our four-legged friends.
00:13 It's Human Dog 23, the photographic exhibition in Castello Sforzesco,
00:17 free to visit until October 30,
00:20 which collects 40 of the 160 shots taken by photographer and journalist Silvia Modio.
00:26 We are what we are precisely because we have gone through the comparison with animals in general,
00:32 but with the dog in particular, which has accompanied us in all our activities.
00:38 So it's a bit like a sunset map that tells us where we come from,
00:43 who we are and to look closely also through these shots probably where we will go.
00:49 The project is part of the "Feeding Love" campaign,
00:52 promoted by COP Lombardy in collaboration with the municipalities and associations of the territories.
00:57 A permanent food collection for animals that is distributed to dogs and cats in need
01:02 and that since 2014 has allowed the distribution of over 4 million meals
01:07 through animal associations that have joined the initiative.
01:11 We were born, however, starting from an extremely concrete need,
01:14 which was to make people understand how also in this field
01:18 we must have an aware and responsible approach.
01:23 Because this project was born when we met people
01:27 who deal with managing phenomena such as herding
01:31 and phenomena such as the abandonment of animals in structures dedicated to shelter.
01:38 Testimonial of the event, Marco Mazzoli, founder and director of ZODI 105
01:43 and his wife, the Marketing Director Stefania Pittaluga.
01:47 In my opinion, we should go back to teaching civic education at school,
01:51 which is no longer there, and this would help to raise awareness
01:55 more about animals, the environment, the delicacy of our planet and everything else.
02:01 All the people who are here today are animal lovers,
02:04 so yes, we are the force, if we want it, we want power.
