00:33 Law graduate jailed for 15 years after string of armed raids.
00:42 This footage shows ex-criminology student Kodakweshe Chewa
00:47 threatening several staff members in different shops with a knife.
00:51 According to West Midlands Police,
00:53 he used his knowledge of police and forensic tactics
00:56 to plan and execute 18 robberies across the West Midlands.
01:00 The 30-year-old targeted a bank, supermarkets, convenience stores
01:04 and petrol stations during his crime spree between February and October 2022.
01:10 A court heard he used his educated background as a university law graduate
01:14 to avoid being captured by switching mobile phones and destroying evidence.
01:19 But the brazen thug was finally caught in November
01:23 after he carried out a robbery at Lloyds Bank using a BB gun
01:27 and was identified by CCTV and DNA evidence.
01:31 Chewa was also filmed on CCTV paying in old £50 notes
01:35 and damaged notes stolen from the bank into his own account.
01:40 Officers swooped at his home to arrest him
01:42 and also seized the BB gun packaging and a money bag stolen in the robbery.
01:47 Chewa of Erdington, Birmingham, pleaded guilty to six armed robberies
01:51 and asked for 12 other robbery offences to be taken into consideration.
01:57 In August 2023, he was jailed for 15 years at Birmingham Crown Court
02:02 and was branded a 'menace to society' after sentencing.
02:08 Brave Habbo Hero chases off armed robbers with beer crate.
02:17 Get him!
02:19 This dramatic video shows the moment a brave soul chased off robbers armed with blades.
02:25 How did he do it? Well, stay tuned to find out.
02:28 Open the door!
02:29 I said open the door!
02:30 I'm not going to, bro!
02:31 Shut the f*** up!
02:32 I don't care.
02:33 Open the door or you're going to get hurt!
02:35 Shut the f*** up!
02:36 December 23rd 2021.
02:39 Three masked thugs are targeting a laundy store in Webberby Road, Leeds.
02:45 They terrorise the lone female shop worker behind the counter
02:48 and threaten her with a sword while demanding cash and cigarettes.
02:52 The hooligan here, wielding the samurai sword and making the threats, is one Brandon Jareb.
02:57 The woman's so scared she's unable to comply.
03:00 Unfortunately, this just angers the villains more.
03:03 According to West Yorkshire Police, Jarrett, along with his accomplice, Jeffrey Chokosha,
03:09 and a third unidentified receiver, are part of the prolific criminal scourge
03:13 who frequently brag on social media about "no face, no case".
03:18 But, as you can see here, that is no longer the case.
03:22 Back in the store, a shopper is being held back by one of the robbers equipped with a large knife.
03:28 But, as you're about to see, that man was not so scared of these goons or their blades.
03:34 No one's going to get hurt!
03:35 Keep quiet and leave!
03:36 No one's going to get hurt!
03:37 Because I'm feeling really nervous and I'm going to start picking up...
03:39 Hey there!
03:40 F***ing scum!
03:41 Yeah, but it's only going to be a minute, get to it!
03:43 I don't understand that!
03:44 What are you doing with that knife?
03:45 Oi, oi, oi, oi, oi, oi!
03:46 That's your piece of...
03:47 Oi, now, now, now, now!
03:48 Now, our hero here has a heavy crate of beer that he's about to put to good use.
03:53 F*** you!
03:54 Get the f*** out of my house!
03:56 Get the f*** out of my house!
03:58 Get the f*** out of my house!

04:15 This was the third time that the gang had held up restoring leads in a matter of weeks,
04:19 having stuck to two other places in December 2021.
04:24 And despite their no-face, no-case braggadocio,
04:27 crack officers working for West Yorkshire Police were able to pull together audio evidence
04:32 using voice recognition to nail Chakoshia.
04:35 We recognised Jaret from his distinctive coat, which we found during a search of a farmer's address.
04:41 The pair denied any involvement when they were interviewed about the offences,
04:45 but both were subsequently charged with three armed robberies and three counts of possession of samurai swords.
04:51 Jaret pled guilty to the charges and Chakoshia was convicted following a trial of the secret court.
04:58 In July 2023, both were sentenced to prison.
05:01 Chakoshia was sentenced to nine years' imprisonment.
05:04 Jaret was sentenced to six years and nine months.
05:07 The pair had previously been jailed in May 2021 for their role in stealing vehicles and leads
05:13 using software to overcome the security systems.
05:16 They were released in November 2021 with strict night-time curfews
05:20 and conditions not to associate with each other.

05:27 Drug driver pulls handbrake turn during 125mph police chase.
05:33 A drug driver who sped the wrong way on one of Britain's main carriageways
05:37 before pulling a dangerous handbrake turn has been jailed.
05:41 It's slowing, it's slowing, it's slowing down.
05:44 It's done a handbrake turn and it's now gone the correct side of the carriageway.
05:49 Thomas Garfield is captured here in footage pulling off a dangerous manoeuvre on the A1.
05:54 But what led to this point? Stay tuned to see more.
05:58 The chase began at 8pm on April 25th 2023 when Garfield fled from police officers
06:05 who had stopped his car in Sheffield.
06:07 After speeding through inner city roads, Garfield reached the A1 motorway
06:11 where he weaved in and out of traffic while driving at almost twice the speed limit.
06:17 He's captured driving through red lights and narrowly avoiding a crash.
06:21 Police were out in force sending six vehicles and a helicopter after the drugged driver.
06:27 He's going to be up off junction 6-1 for my approach in 16, yes?
06:33 In shocking footage taken by the helicopter, he speeds up the hard shoulder
06:44 into oncoming traffic on the A1 in Yorkshire.
06:48 He can be seen reaching speeds of 125 miles per hour.
06:53 Garfield then pulls off a crazed handbrake turn in the middle of the road
06:58 after spotting a gap in the traffic and drove back the way he came.
07:03 Let's take another look at that.
07:06 The radio handler can be heard gasping as he suddenly pulls a U-turn onto the main carriageway
07:22 narrowly missing traffic coming the opposite way.
07:25 It's slowing, it's slowing, it's slowing down.
07:28 It's done a handbrake turn and it's now gone the correct side of the carriageway.
07:34 The lengthy chase ended when Garfield eventually stopped his car and when police tested him
07:39 they found he was positive for cocaine.
07:42 Sheffield Crown Court heard it was a minor miracle Garfield's driving had not resulted in serious injury to Hartnell.
07:49 He pled guilty to the offences at Sheffield Crown Court.
07:53 Garfield was charged with dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and failure to prevent a specimen.
07:59 He was jailed for 20 months on May 17, 2023 and banned from driving for four years and ten months.
08:07 Arms dealers jailed for 31 years for making 3D printed machine gun.
08:16 Two illegal arms dealers have been jailed for over 31 years after they used a 3D printer to manufacture deadly machine guns for criminal gangs.
08:26 Sibu Sison-Wylde and Christopher Gill were convicted of manufacturing the firearms
08:39 after police found the lethal plastic weapons in the back of a BMW.
08:43 Officers wrote on the car that Majid Ruman, an associate of Pierre, had been driving on May 17, 2022 at Radford.
08:52 Police discovered a FGC-9 homemade automatic submachine gun, magazine and bullets hidden in a supermarket bag for life.
09:02 Raids on Gill's property found two further complete FGC-9s.
09:08 When Moyle was later arrested, evidence showed he'd been manufacturing FGC-9s at his home in Hull,
09:15 where he had two 3D printers and parts to make weapons.
09:19 Evidence also showed firearms at various stages of construction in Moyle's kitchen and garage, as well as inside Gill's home.
09:28 It's thought the 3D printed assault weapons were the first of their kind ever seized by a police force in the UK.
09:34 Moyle was found guilty of illegally manufacturing a firearm and a separate identity for the offence following a trial.
09:41 He was jailed for 18 months in May 2023.
09:44 Gill was found guilty of illegally manufacturing a firearm and was jailed for 13 years and 8 months in May 2023.
09:52 Ruman, aged 46, was jailed for 5 years and 4 months in June 2023.
09:57 He was found guilty of possession of ammunition and conspiracy to transfer a prohibited firearm.
10:04 Crook jailed after police found videos showing him bragging about crime.
10:11 "Come on boys, come on, come on, yes bro, touch me, come on!"
10:18 A 20-year-old criminal who found himself wanting wads of cash has been mocked by police after being jailed for over two years.
10:27 Samuel Wamsley was one of 14 men sentenced to nearly 50 years in August 2023 for participating in crime conspiracies involving drug trafficking and vehicle thefts.
10:40 After Wamsley's sentencing, Lancashire police poked fun at him by comparing his cash-flaunting video to his mugshot with the caption "How it started, how it's going," adding it wasn't his brightest idea.
10:53 Wamsley was caught after police recovered incriminating videos from his phone implicating himself and others in drug dealing and burglaries.
11:02 One video showed him describing a good night's work with stolen items, another showed him and his accomplices breaking into a car and laughing.
11:11 That video was posted to a Facebook group where Wamsley commented "That's me in the boot."
11:17 He received two years and four months for conspiracy to commit burglary and steal vehicles.
11:23 The investigation began when he and an accomplice crashed a stolen Audi last October.
11:28 Police arrested the guy after finding more evidence of burglaries and drug dealing on their phones and at their homes.
11:35 Well, that's that for this week. Thanks for watching.
11:40 [Bleep]
11:51 Thank you, God. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, baby.
11:55 Phone the police.
