00:00 SportsFest with Rick Harwin. It's another $1.3 trillion business of sports with your
00:07 Maxwell Minute brought to you by the Maxwell Football Club. It's about college football,
00:11 all right, but it's also driven by television, as we know. And look at the latest television
00:16 process, which is really important. ESPN's gobbled up all of the rights for the last
00:21 12 years, except for men's basketball and men's and women's golf. Well, that's clearly
00:26 going to change at August 2024 when the current deal is over. They've redone their media strategy,
00:33 Endeavor is consulting, and at the end of the day, the bundling may be driving the package
00:38 up even higher. The head of the committee, Dave Gavich, says that the determination of
00:43 whose rights are whose will be determined by the bid number of the media committee,
00:48 but also what's bundled. That's very important in driving up the premium rights. Also, women's
00:54 basketball, higher ratings than ever before, will also drive up the package. SportsFest
