00:10 >> It doesn't work, doesn't work.
00:13 Don't touch it.
00:14 [MUSIC]
00:19 >> All right, there it is.
00:20 >> All right, good.
00:21 [MUSIC]
00:30 >> Prior to Teslas, people kind of scoffed at electric cars as being golf carts.
00:34 >> Yeah.
00:35 >> And now a lot of people view them differently.
00:37 So when people look at this and say, this is an electric Porsche, you can just say, yeah, and it's fast.
00:43 There's no question about it.
00:44 >> Yes, definitely.
00:46 If you like, you can slow down a little bit and then accelerate.
00:49 >> You're telling me to do this.
00:51 [MUSIC]
00:55 >> Yeah, very good.
00:57 So to talk about just the architecture of the car, it's a dual motor.
01:01 There will be, in the production version, 600 horsepower combined.
01:04 The battery will be under the floor.
01:06 The battery will be 90 kilowatt hours with a range of a little bit over 300 miles as expected, right?
01:15 >> Yeah.
01:16 >> And I was looking at your 0 to 100 kilometer time of under 3.5 seconds.
01:21 So that for us, 0 to 60 might be in the range of 3.3.
01:25 >> Yes.
01:26 >> Something like that.
01:27 >> Yes.
01:28 And the focus is on under.
01:29 >> Under.
01:30 >> Yes.
01:31 >> This car, how will it be different than the Mission E sedan?
01:35 >> In the course of development of the Mission E sports coupe, we thought about expanding the model line with a car that is addressing people who live an active lifestyle, who do lots of leisure activities.
01:50 >> Right.
01:51 >> And need, therefore, a car which offers a little bit more space in terms of a bigger luggage compartment, a little bit more head space in the second row, additional accessories like a rooftop box or like a rear mounted carrier system
02:04 so you can carry your bike with you or your surfboard.
02:07 And this in combination with some bad road capabilities of the chassis, we ended up with the idea of the Mission E cross turismo, which we built for the auto show in Geneva in Beijing, and we're currently collecting feedback on it.
02:24 And then we will decide if this car is going to make it into a serious production or not.
02:29 >> Okay.
02:30 So we're part of that feedback.
02:31 >> Yes.
02:32 >> As well as our audience.
02:33 >> Yes.
02:34 >> Watching this.
02:35 So everybody you can weigh in on whether you want such a vehicle as this to exist, I'm in the yes column.
02:44 >> It's good to hear.
