00:00 Ok so a couple of laps in Jaguar's XE Project A, built by a really small team of engineers
00:19 and the concept is simple.
00:24 Create Jaguar's smallest car, the XE, and put in their biggest honking supercharged
00:30 V8.
00:31 So this thing has 600 PS, 592 horsepower and to contain some of that performance it's
00:59 four wheel drive which is a bit unusual I guess for this sort of car.
01:04 There's a track height and a road height, suspension system, driven it on the road already
01:09 surprisingly works pretty well.
01:17 Great brakes, engine is a monster, gearbox, ZF 8-speed works surprisingly well on the
01:23 track.
01:24 Chassis is really sweetly balanced, yeah you can slide it, you can be precise with it.
01:34 It gives you options and not all four wheel drive cars do that.
01:39 You also don't get boring, understeery, heavy feeling that you can get with a four wheel
01:47 drive system, not just noisy but actually focused and really drilled down.
01:56 It feels cohesive in the way it's been executed but it's still got a hot rod feeling which
02:03 is what you want.
02:04 I mean you want it to feel a bit silly if you're spending this much money.
