00:11 We've had a full week of trail runs.
00:13 It's been so fun.
00:14 The entire town is packed with jeeps, trucks, off-road vehicles.
00:18 I'm not going to lie, we're loving seeing every which way you guys are building your
00:22 vehicles.
00:23 But now, this is also a huge industry week as well.
00:26 Everybody converges together and we're at the show today.
00:30 We're going to go dive into some of these boosts.

00:39 We had some good times out there.
00:40 Did some really good wheeling.

00:49 Both of our jeeps went great and we had a real good time.
00:52 So you're out here with a couple new products.
00:53 What do you got?
00:54 Well, we have our new Dirt Logic rear 12 inch travel for the Jeep JK and as well as we have
01:00 a couple new features for our 2015 Dirt Logic line.
01:03 We have stainless steel bodies with nitro steel shafts and 6061 hard anodized resis
01:11 for our Dirt Logics, which is real exciting for us this year.
01:16 We're here with Jeff from Body Armor.
01:17 You guys have a couple of really cool new products.
01:19 Why don't you show us what you got?
01:21 Sure.
01:22 Be glad to.
01:23 So we've got a lot of fun, first thing, but let me show you about this new product.
01:27 We've been a trendsetter in the trail door business and these are new trail doors.
01:31 These are a gen threes.
01:33 What's cool about the gen threes is that we've designed it now so it fits, you adjust the
01:37 door to fit the vehicle instead of the other way around.
01:40 Many doors you have to adjust the strikers or things like that to get the best fit.
01:44 What we've done, we've built a lot of adjustability into it so you get a precise fit, easy on
01:48 and off.
01:49 54 inches wide, a lot of protection.
01:52 We've built some reinforcement into it, like behind the wings.
01:56 We've reinforced it so if you take an impact on a rock, it's not going to crash.
01:59 Quarter inch thick winch plate, 3/16 plate steel, multiple light mounting points.
02:06 So like we had on the trail the other night and we lit it up really nice with seven KC
02:11 lights on the front.
02:12 It's a beautiful bumper.

02:19 We've had a few of these events in the past but now we're expanding it across the country

02:25 JKX was just the west coast event or kind of one event in a sense.
02:29 I guess it's travel around the country and now there's a mid, a east, a west and then
02:35 the big JK experience.
02:37 So it's expanded out.
02:38 Format's a lot of fun.
02:40 Hard wheeling, seven days long, usually 20 rigs and each night we either camp or stay
02:46 in a really nice resort.
02:47 Just a ton of fun and some of the best wheeling I've been a part of.

02:57 What was your favorite trail so far?
02:58 Probably our favorite trail this week was Wipeout Trail.
03:02 One reason why is I also had a couple of my kids with me and I let them drive for the
03:05 first time and so they were driving down and up it and it's a great experience to keep
03:09 the whole family involved and help them grow in to be an adult enthusiast as well.

03:14 I love the family piece of Moab.
03:16 Isn't it awesome?
03:17 It really is.
03:18 So you guys have some new products that you brought out to show as well.
03:21 Yes, we do.
03:22 We've always had our Rock Ready kits for the JKs but now a lot of our customers drive them
03:26 on the street all the time so we have new soft ride coils for the JK.
03:31 It rides just like stock on the highway even though it's lifted up with big tires it still
03:35 rides really good.
03:36 We're at the Evo manufacturing booth and we have Lisa here.
03:39 Mel is out on the trails but this is a whole family experience for you guys.
03:45 Oh yeah, definitely.
03:46 We've been doing this since the kids were little.
03:48 It's a complete family event.
03:50 We try to really include everybody in the experience.
03:53 Great, so you have some new products that you brought out this year.
03:57 Yeah, we've always had all the steel bumpers and armor and everything but we're trying
04:02 to lighten it up.
04:03 That's what a lot of people are interested in is the weight and making everything lighter
04:07 so we're starting to make aluminum bumpers and skids.

04:12 When we talk about technology and innovation this is definitely one of the companies that

04:17 You guys are breaking the fence down.
04:19 What's the latest and greatest that you've come out with?
04:21 We finally came out with the 8-switch digital system that's fully programmable.
04:27 It's all solid state.
04:29 There's nothing like it around.
04:31 How easy is this to install?
04:33 Is it something any guy can do?
04:35 Yeah, anybody can install it.
04:36 45 minutes, three simple tools, you just install it like it's nothing.

05:04 Where did you guys head out to?
05:05 Yeah, we did.
05:06 We had a big run and we had a really big turnout.
05:08 A few more cars than we really expected to, but it worked out great.
05:12 We did the Cane Creek Trail, a super trail.
05:16 You run through a lot of river crossings in and out of the river, and then you have a
05:19 great canyon to climb up and out of.
05:21 That's really the main obstacle of the trail.
05:24 We had some people struggle with that a little bit, but we got everybody through safe and
05:27 sound.
05:28 What is the main product that you're selling to this group of people?
05:32 Well, DynaTrax has always been known for drive train equipment, right?
05:36 So specialized, hardcore drive axles, steering components, and those things are our number
05:42 one.
05:43 That's our flagship everybody knows about.
05:44 This year, though, we've also introduced a new brake upgrade for the JK.
05:48 Those are just doing really, really well.
05:49 We're just getting phenomenal feedback in terms of the braking performance, how balanced
05:54 the system is, how quick it stops, the car stops nice and flat with no nose diving, easy
05:59 install.
06:00 So we're just really excited because we got a lot of people running it, and they're here
06:03 giving us feedback, and it's just great news.

06:24 Well, you brought your brand new Xeon Platinum winch to show off, and it has a wireless remote,
06:30 one of the coolest things that we've been playing with all week.
06:32 So show us a little bit about this.
06:34 Yeah, the Xeon Platinum line was new for us in November.
06:36 It comes in an 8, a 10, or a 12,000-pound capacity.
06:40 You can get synthetic rope on the 8 and the 10 versions.
06:44 Comes with a wireless remote.
06:46 It's got a Zigbee protocol, so it's an industrial Bluetooth connection.
06:49 It gives you vehicle voltage, winch temperature.
06:52 It also operates the remote clutch.
06:54 You'll notice there's no clutch lever on it anymore.
06:57 It's a fully sealed unit.
06:58 It's got an all-new motor in it this year as well, and it's just the newest thing in

07:21 And, yeah, we had a great time on a couple other trails.

07:28 So you have some new products that you're showing off here at the show.

07:32 That's going to be the Trek Top Pro and the Sun Bikini.
07:35 Two new products from us we launched at SEMA this year.
07:38 Really excited about them.
07:39 Going to change the way that you look at your Jeep.
07:42 So what's the best feature about it?
07:44 Let's talk about the bikini, right?
07:46 Bikini.
07:47 One of the best things about our Sun Bikini is that you can leave it underneath your hard
07:51 or soft top, something that is new.

07:59 Which was the best one?
08:01 It had to be the Rim Trail.
08:02 Moab Rim is the best trail out here for us.
08:05 It's challenging, it's short enough that you don't have to spend all day there with 50
08:08 people, 50 different rigs, but we had a great time.
08:10 And I'll have to admit, one of the coolest pieces of that trail, because I was on it,
08:15 is you guys have these freezers and he whips out the Snickers ice cream.
08:19 Right, well, the ice cream is always awesome out here.
08:22 When you're able to go out on the trail and have a 90 degree day and have a fridge full
08:27 of Snickers frozen ice cream, it's awesome.
08:30 The fridge freezer, it does it both.
08:32 And it's not a cooler.
08:34 Coolers are for fish, the fridge is for everything else.
08:37 And ice cream.
08:38 And ice cream, of course ice cream.
